Maybelline New York Gigi Hadid Fiber Mascara, Black

I think the people leaving bad reviews aren't taking the time to apply this mascara correctly. My daughter bought some and I tried it once and was hooked. I was a little worried after reading the reviews that the mascara I would receive would be old and dried up. It was perfect. I will say, I have lash extensions and my daughter does not. I have classic extensions, so they are not super long and no crazy volume. I rarely use mascara but when I do I want my lashes to be seen from 10 feet away! This mascara does that. Even on my daughter who has short lashes and no extensions, the difference is crazy! Go slow, don't use a lot of the fibers or you will get clumps. You can always add more. I even add some to my lower natural lashes and they look great. Black mascara first, then fibers... just a little, then black again. Front and back. It is useful to have an extra spoolie to brush out any clumps. Remember, a little fibers go a long way.

I don't use the fiber aspect, I just use the mascara because it doesn't give my oily skin raccoon eyes like so many other mascaras do. Without the fiber it's just normal mascara, nothing amazing about it, but good enough and I really like it.

I was Excited to get this after watching a beauty blogger on youtube. Unfortunately maybe mine was damaged or dried out but the fibers were dry like feathers and did not give volume like in the video. so I can Only use the mascara side

The color part of this product worked well for about a week, but it seemed that the mascara was old and was useless after that. The opposite end of the tube is a primer and was completely dried up when I received it.

Overall I really liked this product but the biggest problem I had was that the fibers come loose off your eye and go into your eye and it is rather irritating.

It just didn’t live up to the hype. It’s clumpy and didn’t work well. Also barely lasted 2 hours.

I was extremely surprised by this! I’ve used unique fiber lashes and I actually like these much more! I have short stubby eyelashes and can’t see dishing out hundreds on fake lashes that need to be filled monthly. These are a great solution and allow me to have longer pretty lashes without the added cost! That being said I’ll still use fake glue on eyelashes for major events but these are great for daily use! Just make sure you wipe extra fibers into the container so that you don’t get that gross spider lash look!

I use this in conjunction with others mascaras. I like my lashes to be extreme and almost clumpy. This mascara doesn’t smear or run and that’s good for me because I have oily skin. Over all I think this is a great mascara.
