Q: Is it easy to push? I am a 72 year old woman with some back problems but still get out there and use a regular snow shovel.

I am 71 male with a bad back. Easy to push on hard surfaces (deck, conc. sidewalk) and more difficult on rough surfaces (grass, dirt, etc.). Some lifting involved in deeper snow, so maybe start before it gets 6 in. deep. Intake is 16 in. wide but may take half the width at each pass. Side venting snow R or L does not work as well as straight blowing. It is a respectable tool for the price.

Q: How well does this handle the mound of snow at the end of a driveway after the snow plow goes by? Can I 'shave off' 6 inches at a time over the top?

How did this work out for you? I am so grateful for this question and the answers...as I needed this for this purpose...my gas snowblower is too big to maneuver the area at the edge of my driveway as it on a downhill slope

I have never used a snow joe cordless shovel, but I have used the Earthwise Snow Shovel, used it last year and it made shoveling much easier even with wet heavy snow. I like The Earthwise very satisfied with it.

David, Thank you for your question about our Snow Shovel. You can expect a run time of 25 to 40 minutes on a fully charged battery. For maximum run time you will need to charge and discharge the lithium battery two or three times to achieve a full and complete charge.
