Really smooth blend; little to know bitterness, both made with a maca and drip coffee sucks that they no longer have it available to order. Been a real struggle. If it ever comes back, I'll be ordering multiple bags so I don't get screwed in the future.

Oh my goodness!! I should have bought this earlier in my pregnancy! So happy to have coffee again. It is pretty light in taste but if you double the amount it’s perfect. Don’t know how this could get negative reviews, it’s amazing! I will continue ordering even after pregnancy:)

I love coffee but with the last few years, I became sensitive to caffeine. At that point, I had the choice to accept and cut coffee or go decaf... I couldn't cut coffee so I went the decaf route! It was hard to find good ones at first. I tried the Kirkland brand which isn't bad for its value but you can tell the taste isn't as rich as other good coffee beans. Willing to pay more, I tried the kicking horses decaf and boy was I satisfied! For months, I exclusively drank this. I eventually became tired of the taste so I continued my search for a good decaf that was water processed since you can tell when it's done with chemicals through its taste. After some research, I found Don Pablo. I must say I usually prefer dark roasted beans and even if this one mentions light roasted, they appear dark to me and I like it! The taste is rich but not as complex as kicking horses. I would say it's a bit smother but still complex and tasteful. I now enjoy switching from one brand to another so it feels like I have choices for my morning coffee. Don Pablo became a regular for my household along with kicking horses. Enjoy!

Loved the coffee, but I'm highly sensitive to caffeine. All decaffeinated coffees retain a little bit of caffeine. There's no standard for reporting how much residual caffeine is left in the coffee, so I have to gamble and try each new brand I try. Don Pablo Colombian Decaf has a little too much caffeine for me. I have to get up several times in the night if I drink any caffeine at all. It's a genetic trait "slow metabolizer of caffeine". Most folks don't have the issue, and I wasn't aware of mine for decades, but GOSH I LOVE sleeping through the night rather than getting up every 2-3 hours all night long as the tiny bit of caffeine creates urgency in my bladder. It can also contribute to insomnia, same as dark chocolate. There are decaffeinated whole bean coffees that do NOT give me any problems at all, I get coffee goodness (phytonutrients) and flavor and consume a pot a day-and sleep all night with my normal ONE time to the bathroom--which is only two hours before I get up. This coffee is 5-stars for flavor, price/availability but I must dock it 1-star for having more caffeine than I can tolerate personally. I share this personal information to help others who may know or don't know that they too are slow metabolizers of caffeine.
