Will this work in hydraulic oil for leak detection ?

Don't think it's made to mix with hydraulic oil. Container only mentions sewage related, ponds, water stuff. GM has a leak detection product for Oil, fluids. I would think other companies offer them too.

I need to find a leak in a white hot tub. Will this stain the tub?

Water dilutes it. I’ve used the dye in PVC pipes many times and after it’s flushed, the pipe is white again!

Will this work to mark what weeds you sprayed with a sprayer?

If you dilute it I assume it would work. It's very concentrated but water soluble so it will wash off when it rains.

Great dye

Works well, found one leak, looking for another. Very brightly colored, glows with UV light. I like that it won't harm my dogs if they get in it. Does not stain rocks or my blonde puppy. Does dye your fingers so wear gloves. It does clean off your hands though. Would buy again.

Wow! This stuff works!!

If I had only known a little can go a long way! Lol. In our case it wasn’t showing up a soon as we thought it should. So after a few minutes we dumped the rest of the jug down the drains. Then it appeared in our basement drive and just kept on and on. Looked like a red river. We hosed it down trying to dilute it and to get it to flow on away because we were worried our pets would drink it. Anyway, all is well and after a few days it’s disappeared and didn’t seem to stain the cement.
