I bought this for my before her birthday as I was told by my brother and other family members that I couldn't buy her a trumpet or bugle. She has said a few times that she wants a bugle and has been told that she's not going to get one so I decided as a joke to get her a kazoo. It was something simple for her to use to amuse herself while annoying her parents while making some noise/music. After she learned what it was and how to use it she had great fun with it.

First time with a kazoo. If you want this to use while playing an instrument like a ukulele, forget it! The thing just slips out of your mouth. Maybe other kazoos have different shaped mouthpieces?
