Envo Mask N95 Respirator Kit

I rarely give 5 stars. This mask deserves it. I've been using one for almost 3 years and love it. I'm immunocompromised and need to wear a mask anytime I'm indoors when not in my home. Especially now that almost everyone else is pretending certain global health threats are "over". It took me almost two years and many different products to find a reusable mask that fits, doesn't leak, and uses N95 filters. In that time I learned what makes a good one and why the Envo is among the best. To start, the gel that goes against your face ensures a good seal for multiple face shapes. I don't have to tighten the straps much to get it to seal (and they warn you not to). That helps with comfort. The straps I use go around the neck and on top of the head, which also helps with good fit and seal. It's not great for nice hairstyles 😂 but I'm more concerned with protection. Putting it together the first time was intimidating. Now I'm used to it. Don't give up! Once you work it out it'll come naturally to you. Because there's space inside the mask, breathing isn't hampered at all. I especially appreciate that it doesn't touch my lips or nostrils, which was the main problem I encountered with disposable and cloth masks. The problems I've encountered are minor. When the temperature is warm or I'm exerting myself a lot, it does make my face sweat. I get this more in airports than anywhere else since I'm rushing and stressed and flushed. Luckily, it doesn't slip around on my face even when I'm sweaty. Sweating also degrades the strap, meaning I've had to replace it a couple of times. Thankfully, they're not expensive. Taking it off and putting it on is not as quick or easy as one that hooks around the ears. But I'm not a fan of the version of the strap that goes on the ears so I live with it. If you don't store it in the case when you're not wearing it you're more likely to find the gel piece separating from the hard plastic. Use the case! If I don't clean it by wiping the gel bit down with a cotton swab every so often I get skin issues where it sits on my face. So be sure to keep it clean! None of those issues are major and come up with many other masks. This is still the best one and I recommend it to all my family and friends.

Fits better than any of the crappy disposable respirators they provide at the hospital for us. And the fat gel lip gets a good seal even over my light facial hair, I can tell because I don’t get fog on my face shield or glasses the way I do with “duckbills” and green and white striped N-95’s. I can breathe easy physically and emotionally knowing I am protected. My chief complaint is the strap that holds it to your face starts to fall apart pretty quickly. It might last a week or two before it starts looking real torn up, and about a month before it’s not really functioning correctly. Luckily you can order that piece separately from the rest of the kit, and replace it.

great product...but no seal due to large face

I really like this Envo dust mask. It fits and seals much better than the paper ones and it's lighter and more comfortable than my rubber one with dual filter cartridges. I think it seals better against my face than my other rubber one, but it's similar. It's also drier than the traditional rubber one I have. This is both more comfortable and less likely to drip on my work piece. It's always a hassle to get drips on a wood project that has been finish sanded. The Envo mask also is easy to drop down off my face onto my chin when I don't need it for a little while and I don't want to take it totally off. I really like that about it and it's right there when I need it again.

Much more comfortable than the disposable N95 masks. The filter is rated for 8 hours in normal environments. The rubber headgear was comfortable and not too tight. It took two tries to fit the filter into the mask - go slow an pay attention to the edges and placement and things go well. All in all a good mask - easy to breath and comfortable.
