Morcilla Iberico, Blood Sausage, Not Cooked - 4-5 Oz by Fermin (Pack of 2)

Love the flavor and reminds of home in Sevilla! A bit pricey though. Used it to make a Potaje de Chicharos (estilo de Sevilla)...yummy!

A Morcilla suppose to be a sausage made of Pork blood, garlic, oignons snd regular spices only, nothing else.This product is a scam, it is not Morcilla at allit’s just bad pork fat, flavour and color dye with salt.Totally bad, unhealthy, it is not fit for consumptionThis is a clear deception, more: it’s dishonest.Fermin should be ashamed, ASHAMEDIt should be reported to Food and Health agency.

Ok, so this is a tasty Morcilla, However it is really small format and overall size for the price you pay. The product is good other than that.

Adds good flavor to lentil stew. Not smoky as needed for a good fabada.

This tastes nothing like morcilla. It’s usually made with either rice or onion, this has neither. The smell and consistency were strange and a lot of water came out when it was fried(?) It didn’t taste good.

This was my first time buying and trying blood sausage (black pudding ) ever!, it got to me fairly quick which was great!! And also smelled good kind of smokey, and well seasoned but I call the uncooked description into question because Google says raw blood sausage is supposed to be reddish brown in color and what I received was no less than completely black the description that was given if your sausage was precooked it was also kind of hard not firm but hard. Didn't taste bad though given the blood adds something extra to the taste palate of the meat, not unwelcoming just different.
