I love this little sound machine!! I am a very light sleeper because I am easily awakened by sounds. I have been using a white noise app on my phone which has been completely unreliable, shutting off several times a night, which wakes me up. So I ordered this little machine and let me tell you...When I turn it on I am able to fall into a deep peaceful sleep really quickly! It has a timer if you want to use it but I choose continuous play and it stays on until I turn it off. I love that it has different volume levels (it is loud and I love it) and lots of different sounds but I prefer the white noise for sleeping. It has a light in different color selections as well or you can turn it off and keep your room dark and cozy. This is the best thing I have bought on Amazon! Buy it! You won't regret it!

Lately I've been hearing a very low frequency hum that sounds like a motor running. Low frequency sounds are very difficult to localize, and they're not very well blocked by ear plugs, so I really haven't been able to tell if it's a real noise or tinnitus. But I noticed I can't hear it in my office, where the computer and air purifier are running, making a soft white noise effect, so I decided to try buying a sound machine. This one was highly rated and at a great price, so I figured I'd give it a try. I hooked it up and found a sound that seems to be completely neutral. Birds chirping, rain drops splashing, thunder rolling, and music all give my brain something to latch onto when I'm trying to sleep, so the gentle hiss of white noise is the best thing for me. Not long after turning it on I found myself getting really sleepy, the annoying low frequency hum successfully drowned out by the soft white noise. The nightlight isn't all the useful for me, since everything has glowing LEDs these days and my bedroom is lit up like a Christmas tree, but I do like that it offers red as an option, and you can reduce the brightness, because the default is way too high, and you can turn the light off completely if you don't want it. One thing I noted is that the sound improves if you can elevate the unit slightly so that the speaker on the bottom isn't right against the surface. I'm going to have to see if one of the stands for the older disk-shaped Echo Dots would work for this thing.

I love the small, portable size. The sound quality is great. So many options when it comes to noise, also. Great product!

Great sound machine with tons of different sounds, settings, volume control, and even a night light. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because mine had a small snag in the fabric part of the speaker, but it didn’t affect the sound quality. It’s nice and small & very portable so you could definitely take it along with you when going on a trip as it will definitely fit into a carry on/ or even a large purse if need be. My baby has gotten great sleep since getting it.

Great sound machine! Super simple and I like the fact of the changeable light colors. OR NO LIGHT AT ALL ! That is a nice feature … this is a good item for the price!

The sound quality is good. Hugh range in volume, you should be able to find the right volume. Great selection of sounds. It will take some effort to get the sound and volume that works to help you sleep. Definitely helps me with falling asleep. I like having a timer, mine is set for one hour and I never hear it turn off. The timer has very small white lights for each duration and the light does shine on the ceiling, so that might be a problem for some people.

I haven't been able to sleep more than a few hours for the last couple weeks due to a very frustrating constant sound in my place. I bought this as a last ditch effort before trying to break my lease. Night one... sound one... I haven't slept so peacefully in ages. My cats don't mind the sound either even though it's on pretty loud. I've had it in the bed and it hasn't gotten hot, hasn't had any issues running non stop all night. I honestly picked it for the campfire sounds, which are absolutely lovely but not quite right for sleep. Sound one reminds me of the noise machines in a therapist office. Very soothing. Also... the colors are soo fun! So many choices! I love to use the orange light with the campfire sound lol. I can't wait to keep using this. I am going to see if it helps with my cats anxiety when I'm at work tomorrow. Thanks for helping me sleep.

The unit itself is fine, but I’m not convinced it’s non-looping. Because of my tinnitus, I bought it for this reason alone, so I’m giving it a low rating.

Using it for my puppy to help her sleep but also deter her from hearing us wake up in the mornings until were ready to get her out of the crate , this is seriously loud ! Rated one of the loudest on amazon and it shows ! Which is the reason for my purchase I tried a few others and none met the sound volume that I needed ro block out other noises! Night light works great with multiple colours and many different volumes and sounds to chose from. So far no issues with looping or sound quality.

Works amazingly well! I love the nightlight feature and the many different sounds to choose from. It goes everywhere that I sleep. Out of town Family sleep overs, motels ect. It drowns out noise from street and or noisy neighbours at a hotel ext. You'll get hooked on this machine. My wife and I cannot sleep without this " dream machine ". Don't hesitate......but this...you'll love it!
