Great slate rounds. I laser engrave different scenes on these and they etch very well. Tip - spray the engraving surface with clear matte spray paint and they engrave very well. Wi tat coating, they don't scratch as much and the engraving has great contrast.

These slate blanks arrived in great condition. They were well packed to avoid damage. We used them with a CO2 laser engraver and they etched beautifully! They are a little on the thin side, I would have preferred something a little bit thicker for a more solid piece. For the price they were satisfactory.

These are pretty nice and engrave well. I would give them 5 stars IF they were a bit thicker. Oh, and the little soapstone pencils arrive broken in about 50 pieces.

Bought these for my daughter for entertaining. She really likes them.

I used these for a laser project. They came out great. I use a 36W Blue Diod. Laser. I think a 5W laser would be more than enough power engrave these slates.
