Ok, I don’t leave reviews very often but these Bugsnubs are too helpful not to say something about them. We’ve been invaded by ants coming through the window frame (that’s cinnamon around the window crank in the picture). We had to take everything off the counters and out of the cabinets and stash it all in the dining room. While we’re waiting for the ant bait to take effect, we don’t want them running around in all of our stuff with their little poisoned feet, but we still need to have some kind of usable work surfaces. I googled “ant proof” and found the Bugsnubs. I ordered 3 sets, along with some extra goo and 2 sets of the cups that are made to go onto shepherds crooks in the garden. I wanted to be able to remove the Bugsnubs whenever I’m ready and reuse them elsewhere in the future. I attached the Bugsnubs to a set of old coasters, and then used the adhesives for Command Hooks to attach the coasters to the bottoms of two wooden trays and a large aluminum pan. All I have to do is remove them by pulling on the command hook strip. Smeared the goo in the ring, and hey! Usable work space. I smeared some of the goo around the feet of the marble cutting board, and filled some bottle caps with goo to set the feet of an old rack in to put the dish drain on. It’s a little weird to have all these “floating islands” on the counters, but the ants can’t get on them and I can easily move everything out of the way and wipe down the counters. The Bugsnubs are unobtrusive, we can’t even see them. I slid the shepherds crook cups up the legs of a small card table so I have someplace to stack the food we had to take out of the cupboards. Rice, sugar, birdseed, I want to keep everything in the kitchen so the ants don’t get attracted to other parts of the house. I want to thank the folks who made these things. They are sturdy, and well made, clean and ready to use. They don’t feel cheap or flimsy or hastily machined. They’re awesome, and I like feeling like I got what I paid for. Good job, and thank you. Update: it’s now April of 2025. I still get ants trying to come in the kitchen window every spring. Not a big deal, since I still have the same trays with the same bug snubs with the same goo in them set up the same way. And they still work just as well! As soon as we see the first ants, we set out baits and get them gone before they set up shop. In the meantime, I don’t worry about them getting into everything because the bug snubs are still working like new. Still one of the best things I ever bought.

I originally had these placed on the bottom of a set of patio deck covers that held a cat auto-feeder and a cat fountain. The covers looked great but ended up sagging over time and collecting cat food in the cracks, and eventually the ants found out about all of this and started their invasion. So terrible idea overall. Eventually I decided to just get simple food trays instead and transfer the old legs over to the trays. To my utter astonishment, the gel was still there (as in, it hadn't dried up at all), and the adhesive still worked - this was after a year of having them support the tiles. I reapplied the gel and then just stuck them to the bottom of the trays. So everything works, looks great (mostly because of the trays though - you can't see the legs), the ants are gone (so far), and the cat is happy. Fair warning - I found the gel to be EXTREMELY difficult to remove. I guess there was no reason for me to remove it in the first place when I was transferring the legs over, but I wanted to start anew with new gel packs. I tried soap and water at first, which didn't do much, and then I just wiped it away but due to the construction of the legs, there is a place at the base where the gel will just stay no matter what you try. So if you need to start over with clean legs for whatever reason, you're better off just buying new ones, but again - I just don't think you need to clean them in the first place.

These are perfect, easy to apply, and arrived quickly. They even included the gel to put inside that keeps the ants out. I was having to dump my dog's food almost every day, and it is not cheap. These work beutifully. Very happy with this purchase.

I have been looking a long time for something like this. I am absolutely delighted with these and cannot say anything negative. Because I needed a larger tray to fit a water fountain and an automated feeder, I was delighted to find that these feet were sold separately. Four of them are quite adequate to hold the 26 x 18 tray with my heavy water fountain and automated feeder. In addition to the gel on the feet I was also able to slide flat glue boards underneath the tray for the occasional Palmetto bug we get here in the subtropical climate. I have been recommending these to everybody and would buy them again and may even need more of them. Not only helpful for pet food but other uses! I purchased an extra set that I will be putting under the automated feeder. A little pricey, or just the feet, but so much less expensive than battling nasty bugs!

No ant problems after using these legs. Love it. I purchased the trays with the legs, and then got some other larger trays separately and added the legs to them.
