beautifully simply, elegant design which does several things well without cluttering up your sink with ugly, cheap, moulded plastic. Drains, on/over the sink or on the side; acts as a trivet for hot pans/dishes, folds over or rolls out of way when not needed, covers the sink to provide another surface area and goes in the dishwasher when dirty. It looks great and adds to rather than clutters your kitchen surface. I love it and have now bought it for several people.

I tried out several of these mats. This is among the strongest, if not the strongest. It just didn't fit in my situation. In my opinion it appears to be overpriced as well. It's doubtful that the extra cost of manufacture justifies the price point even considering its strength. Beyond strength, there is absolutely no additional utility provided by this item. Unless you absolutely need something that will support a truck over your sink, I suggest you buy a "lesser quality" similar item and save yourself a bundle. Franke is a high-end brand, but much of the "high end" is really mystique with little if any extra function. There are other quality mats out there and here on Amazon that will do the job just fine at a third the cost or less.
