When I received the pen, I was immediately struck by the beautiful blue color which is both vibrant and eye-catching. Surprised at how small it is when closed, perfect edc pen and fidget toy in one. Orange is really bright so easy to find in a bag or pouch.

The LAMY Pico ballpoint pen is a pocket sized pen which can make for the ultimate handy travel companion. With one simple push on the top end of the pen, the pen smoothly extends to a comfortable writing size without any further intervention required. When closed the writing tip retracts neatly into the metal pen body meaning no worries about it taking up too much space or accidentally writing on the inside of your pocket! The bottom end can be screwed off to easily refill it with LAMY M22 compact ballpoint refills. If you are a fan of Lamy pens and need something that's compact, easy to use and versatile (all whilst maintaining that Lamy quality) then this could well be the pen for you. The only downside is that availability on Amazon is patchy and you may end up having to import from Amazon EU like me (though it only took a few extra days).

These are a beautifully made little pocket pen which with an excellent quality refill which writes beautifully. It is one of these items which become indispensable. Keep in your pocket (or handbag) and you will always have a pen when you need it most. The refits last ages and you are more likely to lose the pen, which given its small size if unfortunately an all too frequent occurrence, than have the pen run out of ink. However replacement refills are easily found. My only criticism is that the ingenious retracting mechanisms is a little prone to jamming when it collects dust and debris from your pocket. When that happens it will stop behaving as it should and it is very difficult to get it working smoothly again. Five stars for design and quality of manufacture but only 3 stars for durability.

Was a great little pen but broke after 3 months - spring or something gone so now useless.

Classy pen, ideal to keep in small handbags or jacket pockets, nice action, lovely design, typical of all Lamy pens. Would make a nice gift to anyone who appreciates good design a little out of the ordinary.

This is definitely one of Lamy's more gimmicky pens with a retractable barrel, but otherwise a well-designed portable pen with the usual Lamy high quality. I was primarily getting this pen as a fidget toy and for that purpose, the pen is outstanding - the retractable barrel mechanism functions smoothly and seems durable as well. However, as a writing instrument, I do find the pen to be a little shorter and lighter than expected, making it slightly uncomfortable to use. I am also not a fan of the fine point cartridge that came with the pen and will probably replace it soon.

If your looking at these pens you already know there a step up from a cheap n cheerful plastic pens.This pen is ideal for keeping in your pocket I use it for work I have to sign in and out of lots buildings ,no lid to loose.well build solid pen.

Auf dem Foto wirkt ja gerade die orange Version des Lamy Pico etwas plastikartig - das bestätigt sich in der Realität nicht! Der Pico wirkt geschlossen wie ein aus dem Vollen gefrästes Metallstück, ein schönes und angenehm in der Hand liegendes Schreibgerät. Versuch einer Einordnung: wesentlich runder und handschmeichelnder als ein Rotring 600 bei geschlossen etwa 2/3 dessen Länge. Der Rotring wirkt im Vergleich technischer, wie ein unergonomisches, aber ähnlich solides Werkzeug. Auch der Bellroy Micro Pen sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben: noch kleiner als der Pico, aber trotz praktisch gleichem Preis nicht so wertig, umständlich zu bedienen und ergonomisch nur als Notfallkuli nutzbar. Schade ist, dass es für den Lamy keinen Clip gibt. Wegkullern kann er aufgrund des erhabenen Lamy-Logos trotzdem nicht. Dass der Pico in ausgefahrenem Zustand klapprig wirken soll, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Ja, die Mine ist nicht perfekt spielfrei, aber ich hab das mal mit meinen anderen Kugelschreibern mit Spannwerk (also alle handelsüblichen Kulis, deren Mine per Knopfdruck ein- und ausgefahren werden kann) verglichen: im Lamy bewegt sich die Mine am wenigsten von allen. Was mir eher auffällt: schüttelt man den ausgefahrenen Kugelschreiber kräftig, hört man aus dem inneren ein (sehr leises) Rasselgeräusch von der Mechanik - das verschwindet in geschlossenem Zustand. Also alles technisch nachvollziehbar und absolut kein Manko.

Kupiłem skuszony jakością Lamy. Faktycznie produkt jest wysokiej jakości ale po otrzymaniu przesyłki okazało się, że długopis jest mikroskopijny. w stanie złożonym ma około 8-9 cm długości. po rozłożeniu może 12 ? Nie nadaje się do normalnego, codziennego pisania duże ilości tekstu - raczej do podpisywanie, okazjonalnego napisania kilku zdań

good pen but i find it hard to grip since it doesnt have any grip. and the chrome looks awful in the long term use
