Intellitouch PT20 Compact Classic Tuner

Accurate, fast, easy to read... Really like that the display changes color when the string is in tue. Very easy to use in a performance situation!

Within 2 months, the PT20 stopped working. It turns on, but it simply does not pick up the resonance from my acoustic guitar. I replaced it with a newer but cheaper model and I'm back in business.

I love my other version of this tuner from Intellitouch much better than this one because my other version does not change color when it gets in tune. This one changes color back and forth when tuning from red to green and it make it harder to use. The color change is distracting and in fact, does not help in the tuning process... it gets in the way. I thought it might be helpful but after trying to use this one that does this, I find it to be very annoying and in fact harder to use the tuner because of it. If I had known this before hand I would have never bought this unit. Other than that, it is a great unit. Some people might like this feature but I hate it now that I have had a chance to use it. Maybe it is just me... but I do not think the color change is a good feature...on the contrary. I like the Intellitouch brand and I love my other Intellitouch turner a great deal... just not this tuner.

Didn't work as well as I had expected. Ended up purchasing something else that worked a whole lot better.

It, just like all intellitouch tuners, does what it is supposed to do, accurately and discreetly. I had the PT10 and actually liked it better but I gave it to my grandson. They are all wonderful little tuners and really good for stage use!

I think this is better than the original intellitouch PT1! It's smaller, faster, and works great. The clamp is strong and it stays put.

After using an iPhone app for tuning, I bought this unit based on reviews I'd read and cost. I'm very happy with it. One thing I love is that, unlike the app, I can use it to fine-tune my guitar when I have the capo up the neck ... in other words, it doesn't just tune to standard EADGBe. It gives me a perfect F#, too, and works with open tunings. The universal neck doesn't seem to be very strong, so it may not be a good choice for a working musician who travels or uses it a lot, but for my couple of hours a day of playing at home, it's perfect.

Product works great. directions could be a little more detailed but once you get it set to your particular instrument it works great. always had a problem getting the second string on a 5 string just right but this does the trick. much better than hand held product since it is always ready to go when needed.
