I saw a some bad reviews on the shampoo and conditioner set and wanted to give the shampoo a good review. This shampoo left my hair soft, clean, and took out all of the product buildup from my other hair care products. My curls still activated without any additional product after using this shampoo which was a nice plus. My hair looked clean for a few days after with no greasy look. I made sure to follow the directions on the bottle and this shampoo worked really well for me. May not work for all hair types but it was a success in my book.

Leaves hair very clean, it has sulfates it in though, which I didn't realize until I bought. A lot of chemicals in it wasn't what I expected, but I do use it as a clarifying shampoo when I need it.

Bought for my sister and she loves it! She has thick hair and a tender scalp. This shampoo works very well, although, she isn't a fan of the charcoal color!
