BOSCH 3397009034 AeroTwin Wiper Blades - Set of 2 (26"& 26") Side Lock 22mm

These fit correctly to my Porsche Cayenne, were very easy to install (about 10 seconds), appear to be quality made, have good windshield coverage, and are streak free, but time will tell in the Phoenix sun.

I love that my BMW uses the pin attachment for wiper blades. It makes it so easy to replace. These Bosch wiper blades lasted me a year. (This is a repurchase) Straight from the box to the vehicle and easy on/off replacing...no fussing with extra pieces and parts to throw away (like with the ones from RainX)

Excellent product and it was very easy to install. Was able to test it with rain and it was very quiet and clears up all the water. A definite buy and a great value.

Well after 10 YEARS of use I finally got around to replace the factory installed wipers on my 2006 VW Jetta. The wipers available here on Amazon are the original wipers that came with the car and are quite simply the best windshield wiper blades ever made. I probably could have used the old wiper blades for another year but they were just now starting to lose their function. Amazingly the old wipers didn't have any cracks and the rubber is still quite flexible with just a small amount of fading apparent and this is from living in a climate with harsh Winters and hot Summers. With so few car parts being reliable and functional for an extended period of time these are truly a standout. As other reviewers have pointed out these mount to the wiper arms using the 90 degree PIN mount, which is an amazingly simple way to install a wiper. Well done BOSCH!

The product ordered is listed on Amazon as Bosch 3397118936 Aerotwin Wiper Blade Set - 24". The wipers received were labeled AEROTWIN A 936S, so I assume they are the same product. According to the Bosch "Vehicle Finder" web site the correct part number for a 2006 GTI is also 3397118936. However, these blades will not fit on my GTI because the mounting system is different. The AEROTWIN A 936S uses a 90 degree pin mount while my GTI blade has a sliding mount released by a square pushbutton. The Bosch vehicle finder says that 3 397118979 is the correct number for the for 2007 GTI, and looking at the picture of the wiper on Amazon, it appears to be the wiper I need. So, the bottom line is that both Bosch and Amazon's vendor have the incorrect part number for the 2006 GTI wiper blades. I suspect this is because they have either confused the 2006 MKV GTI with the last of the MKIV GTIs...which were sold in early 2006, or VW changed the blade style in mid-year for the 2006 MKV GTI. In any event, it appears that my car needs the style that fits the 2007 GTI. By the way, I'm still giving the wiper five stars because the Bosch AEROTWIN wipers are quiet, work perfectly, and have a long life.
