purchased for my 90 year old mother who loves her colouring in now she doesn't have to wait for me to go and sharpen her pencils - we love it

This is my favorite pencil sharpener! It works so well! We use it for both #2 pencils and colored pencils and it works great! You can change the setting for how sharp you want the pencil to be! It makes the same noise as an average sharpener. I can trust my students to use it as it sharpens on its own and pops the pencil out when it’s finished. Because it’s a smaller sharpener, if an eraser somehow gets placed inside the sharpener it’s easy to fix/get out

Update: Seller reached out and replaced the product. Excellent customer service! Very much appreciated! When this works, it is a fabulous sharpener! I bought one in August 2024. It worked for almost a year and then something seemed to get jammed or broken inside. We couldn’t figure out what was wrong and as a teacher I couldn’t be without a sharpener so I bought another one in Oct. 2025. Now this one is doing the same thing. Won’t sharpen anymore. It has power but won’t take the pencil in to sharpen it. I don’t let my students use it because I need it to last. As a grade 1 teacher I’m buying this myself for my classroom. Disappointed because they aren’t cheap, but I originally thought it was worth it. I’ve recommended to colleagues, but after this experience again, I can’t buy another.
