Great First Filter for Basic Protection and Sharpness
This was the very first filter I bought for my kit EF-S 18-55mm lens, and it worked really well starting out. I wasn’t totally sure what an MCUV filter did at first, but I noticed it helped keep my images a bit sharper and definitely protected the lens from dust and accidental bumps. It stayed on my lens until I upgraded to a sharper, more versatile lens. Solid choice for beginners looking to protect their gear without breaking the bank.

Great Lens and packaging
The lens came in a handy plastic storage box for when not using, also a cleaning cloth, packaged well, the lens is great with perfect fit. I really like the grin ring on lens that makes installing and removing easy. Very protective for original lens. Would buy again

Protects my lens and my soul!
Got it for my EF-S 55–250mm f/4–5.6. Worth It.🔒 Protection:I shoot outside a lot- car shows, dirt, pollen, flying bugs with attitude, and this thing’s been a great first line of defense. I'd rather clean or replace a filter than risk scratching actual glass. Bonus: no anxiety wiping it with a t-shirt if I have to.🌞 **Optical Clarity:**No weird color cast, no ghosting, and it hasn’t affected sharpness at all—even at 250mm. I was worried it might dull the image, but nope. Photos still come out crisp and contrasty. (note I have to stop this lens down to like f8 anyway as its pretty soft at 250)📦 **Build Quality:**It’s super slim, threads on smoothly, and doesn’t feel like the bargain bin trash you sometimes get with cheap filters. Doesn’t get stuck, doesn’t rattle, and doesn’t look like a toy.⚠️ Important Note: (I used an EMOJI, so you better read this!!!)CLEAN YOUR LENS WELL BEFORE PUTTING THIS ON.It threads on fine, but trust me, you don’t want to keep taking it off and on.Put it on once and leave it.Any dust, fingerprint, or oil on the front element WILL show up in your shots like a nasty watermark you didn’t ask for.Treat it like applying a screen protector, clean, then cover and LEAVE IT ON.Bottom Line:If you’ve got the 55–250mm or any 58mm filter size lens, grab this. Cheap peace of mind, no image degradation, and it saves you from the heartbreak of scratched glass or sneeze damage mid-shoot.

Good quality glass but the filter ring can be problematic for some lens hoods
I think the K+F Concept Nano-K is a good value for casual shooters wanting protection from the elements, pets and fingers. Not much image degradation compared to B+W or Hoya HMC and (with microfiber cloth) sea spray and sand are easily wiped off. However, the knurled "non-slip" ribbing on the filter ring prevents some of my lens hoods from attaching to the camera. The HB-6 for the Nikon 24-70, for example. Not a huge deal but have never experienced this in 40 years of photography. And I want to relate an experience which does NOT affect the rating but is going to make me reconsider using K+F filters. Today, I dropped a lens onto concrete from chest height. It's been a couple decades but I've done this a number of times. Previously, every time the filter hits the ground first, the filter shatters and the ring deformed. B+W, Heliopan, Hoya, Tiffen behaved similarly. Today, the K+F filter (pictured) did not shatter nor become deformed and I believe it transmitted more force of impact to the lens than if it had shattered. The focus ring of the AF-D lens is so stiff it will no longer autofocus.

Becoming standard on all of my lenses
Thin and light, sturdy and clear. Images look great through these filters--no discernable impact on color or clarity. Like many others, I am using these as protection for my lens elements, so I can keep the actual cap in a pocket and not have to fiddle with it while I'm out and about. The only downside I've had is with a friction-fitted cap on the Olympus 17mm f1.8. Even though this is the same outer diameter as the lens, the machined knotches, which makes turning the filter easy, also seem to snag on that lens cap. So now I have to get a more standard cap or fiddle more often with this lens. On some other lenses, I find this actually makes it easier to put the cap back on without looking. The slight protrusion helps.
