Useful for small DIY to accept threading holes.
I picked thicker 3mm thick sheets because I wanted to be able to drill and thread the metal to mount it and mount stuff to, which worked, except with a threaded hollow Steel rod with a non-standard thread pitch. I spray a piece with Zinc and Aluminium protective paint, so that it won't rust while outside.
