There are lots of fun itineraries in this book, and the price ranges match our budget. But there’s not much at all for the middle of the Midwest

Can’t wait to try some of these places out. It can be so overwhelming to figure out the best places to go or things to do and it’s so nice having it all in a book!

Not what I expected
I expected more thorough descriptions. I ordered Readers Digest Most Scenic Drives in America and was much more pleased. I probably should have returned The Open Road since I’m not going to use it. Maybe I can give to someone else.
