I got this for my Dad (77) to replace a dying windows PC setup. If it was for me it would be a bit on the large/heavy side (15.6/4#) - especially for a Chromebook. He LOVES it however. the screen is fabulous - sharp and bright. Trackpad has a great feel, and the keys work well/number pad is nice. The extra screen area is great for older eyes. It has a great selection of ports and SD slot. It will replace the hurting pc for browsing, emails, bill paying and such, and he plans to take it with him when he travels. Dad has a decent handle on how his (Android) phone works, but was surprised & thrilled to see that by signing into the same Google account as on his phone - all his pictures are right there AND backed up to the cloud :). I'm a lifelong Thinkpad customer (since IBM), but all the lesser expensive LENOVO laptop & Chromebooks I have purchased for my family have been really great and always a GREAT VALUE! - and this one is probably the nicest machine and best bang for the buck yet.

I ordered this device for some simple schooling. This by far is one of the best build quality on a Chromebook that I have ever tested. I did primarily use this Chromebook for schooling, and for watching some movies. The only big problem that I have with it is the battery life. If I were to stream a movie on Netflix, or any other streaming service, the device battery consumption would drop to 4-5 hours remaining. Charging is very quick, and among other things, it's an altogether amazing device. The screen is high quality, the hinge is amazing (a little stiff but not rickety), and the color reproduction looks amazing. The speakers are a little quiet but for schooling speakers aren't really needed. There was one problem with some audio playback, but turning it off and back on seemed to fix it instantly with no other problems. Overall, this is an amazing Chromebook!

I like the ease of use. The touchscreen is a must! The battery last a long time. The only thing i didnt like is the apps are formatted for a phone, so it is easier to go to social media from the web.

Do not waste your money, have had many computers in my life, this one the biggest garbage!

It has everything I need, good screen and performance, and still very affordable.

has great durable finish to this chromebook/tablet get a lot of people asking me where I got it when they see me out in public with it...well with the money...the touch screen works perfect on it....get this

First off i must say this is the first laptop/computer/tablet I've had in 10 years, and boy they've come a long way in that time!! Had about a week. Still learning how to use it but so far I absolutely love it, its super fast, and the screen quality is better than all the other flat screen TV's and cell phones in our home! I love that it's touch screen & we can use it as a laptop, or flip it all the way over and use it as a tablet in landscape AND portrait mode!! My Dad (who's older and uses "readers" glasses) likes that u can easily zoom in and out what's on the screen if needed. Fixing to use it to update my resume on Microsoft if I have any negative experiences I will definitely update this review!

Purchased these late last year. One of them a key popped off, and I was able to pop it back on. However it has popped off again, and won't go back. Contacted Lenovo about replacing the key/keyboard because it's "damaged". If you purchase one of these and the key pops off in the return window be sure to return it then.
