Can’t give them 5 stars because I’ve only been wearing them one week at the time of this review. But so far so good. They are oversized but the product description states that. I got some cheap inserts and that took care of that. I’ve been wearing them everyday for a week in rough working conditions. I wanted these for the hard rubber soles because I run a high risk of stepping on rusty nails sticking through boards. These are my first jungle boots. The canvas uppers seem to keep my feet cooler, I don’t know why. Also, the canvas uppers make these boots easier to lace and they slip on and off a lot easier than what I’m used to. I haven’t ran into any of the problems yet that I’ve seen in these reviews. None of the bootlace eyelets have popped out and the drain grommets are still intact. The leather looks to be real. It’s not cracking and splitting anywhere yet. I shine the boots at the end of the day. I bought these to use for a big cleanup project and then throw away. But I may hold onto them. I like them more and more. My girl friend asked me to order her a pair, I tried to dissuade her, but ended up ordering her a pair. I have no idea how that will go. Anyway, I can’t give them a 5 because I’ve only had them a week. I got these so that I won’t get a nail through my foot. Nice boots have soft glued on soles that aren’t going to stop a nail.Update: been wearing these almost daily for over a month. I feel justified in elevating my rating of them from a four star to a five star.Update: It’s now October 15th, 2021. Still no problems. Included a photo of me wearing them. I like them. They lace up fast, the canvas uppers facilitates slipping them on, they take a good shine and are comfortable (with insoles). And they just look so damned good!

I bought these for my 13 year old to wear in LOTC this year. Kids grow so fast, and their interests change so quickly…I wasn’t trying to spend $150 on a pair of boots just yet. And these will do nicely! They’re lightweight, come in a nice wide range of sizes, and my son says they’re comfortable. They’re not top quality, okay. If you’re really wearing them hard - long ruck marches on uneven terrain, that sort of thing - they may not be what you’re looking for. But for style/uniform compliance without breaking the bank, they’re perfect. Sizing is weird. I recommend actually measuring your foot and going by the provided size guide. That’s what we did and we got it right on the first try.

First off, when people say these run big, they mean it. I normally wear a size 13 shoe, so I purchased these in size 13 as well. TOO BIG! Because they slide so much and are so big, after running around my feet really started to hurt. I would have ordered size 12 but at the time, they were out of stock.As far as durability is concerned, I have only had the chance to use them for one day of airsoft (~7 hours). However, during that one day, there was a pretty steady rain and the ground was EXTREMELY muddy (not to mention the field I play at, Ballahack, has tons of marshes). These boots went through some serious trials that day, stepping through 8 inch deep marshes and mud(which by the way, as expected, these are not waterproof at all). The boots held up quite well(including the soles which people have said came off easily, which I can see happening as the soles seem quite cheap).Would I buy these boots again? Nope. Once these boots are done, I am going to fork out money to get a decent pair.Would I recommend these boots to someone? Only if they did not have much money to spend. While these are cheap and decent, there are better boots that are more comfortable and sport more features(steel-toe, waterproof, etc.) for a little more.

I like Rothco as a budget tactical gear brand, I do, but I’ll be 100% honest in my review.-I’ve worn these boots on several terrain types and they’ve done wonderfully as far as comfort with exception for rocky terrain, in which you can virtually feel every rock under your step.-Great tread grip, no complaint there.-Panama sole began to separate from the boot after roughly 20 miles of hiking.-Leather is cheap but durable and flexible.-The laces are garbage and were immediately replaced with speed lace.-The canvas carries a stench but I oddly find it satisfying to smell lol.-Boots are lightweight which is outstanding.-I usually wear an 11 or 11.5. A 10W was perfect for me.-Overall I love the look and fit of the boot.Conclusion: I really want to like the boot but the sole separating from the rest of the boot makes it hard to trust for any avid outdoorsman.I’m going to shoe goo the sole eventually and see how long the boots can run before falling apart beyond functionality.When they do I’ll probably pick up a pair of GoRucks or Belville Jungle boots.

Let me start by saying that I was excited for these boots. I've been wanting jungle boots for a while, especially the Rothco brand as they seemed to be relatively high quality. I've watched reviews, looked at how exactly they're built, and have worn several pairs about a decade ago.These are so low quality it's borderline upsetting. I've had them for a grand total of 4-5 days and I'm already considering throwing them out. Massively uncomfortable, even after multiple attempts at forming the leather, the eyelets are extremely poorly made, the sizing seems completely inaccurate. All around an avoid for me.After the first two outings in these, two eyelets on the left boot and three eyelets on the right had worked themselves out of their seating. When not addressed, this can cause fraying or cutting of the boot lace. The sizing of the boots seems to be all over the place, both are marked as a 9R, but one boot shows obvious bulging along the front edges and doesn't seat the insole the same way as the other. I can't recommend these boots to anyone - I even went as far as informing a friend I'd no longer be buying him a pair as a gift.

Bought for my son who loves them! As sizing chart for these boots says, they run about 2 sizes large to accommodate thick socks. He is shoe size kids 5 and we ordered boots in size 3.

Product came fast, even for me living in a rural community. Boots are very comfortable and flexible, been using them to hike around for a couple months and they still in good condition.

Me encantó ,son buenas unas buenas plantillas y perfecto tiempo y forma de entrega no me quejo le doy 10 pero las botas si me desepcionaron me encantaron y todo pero apenas voy a hacer dos meses y ya se cuarteaeon como si de cartón se tratarán me gustaría saber si hay cambios o algo más o menos por qué si me encantaron el único problema es que se están cuartenado y eso que no las maltrato al contrario

me gustaron, me sirven para practicar senderismo desértico; sin embargo, fue necesario adaptarle una plantilla de puro cuero y una acojinada y quedaron listas para usarlas.
