Sony PS2 Console (PS2)

Nice machine, but I have put it in the rubbish bin as I could not cancel the order.

The Playstation 2 arrived very quickly (one to 4 days earlier than the estimated delivery date) and was packed really well. Talking about at least 30 yards of bubblewrap here - as someone suffering from anxiety I appreciate this free stress relief very much. I was supplied with a console, scart cable, a power cable, an original Playstation 2 controller and even a memory card. All of these, including the console itself, are in perfect working order and surprisingly clean. I found minimal loose dust in the fan and expansion slot, but that's to be expected and was easily cleaned. There's not much else that needs saying. If it wasn't for a minimal scratch on the front of the console you'd swear it was brand new. I'm absolutely happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this seller.

Dirty...quickly cleaned though and no other issues, I'm quite pleased with my little blast from the past.

The PS2 I received was not in the best of conditions; The box I received it in was falling apart and was barely able to support the weight of the PS2 anymore, the video port on the back is worn so bad the connector just sits on the contacts instead of being held tightly in, and also initially the video produced had enormous motion-blur on the entire scene making the whole experience like an acid trip. These were all minor issues however, the box I threw away, the video connector is fine if you don't touch it and the video blur went away after about 10 hours of play-time. Now, to anyone who doesn't know all this, it's a great performing console in great condition.

I bought this in March 2001 and used the multi taps for PS1 and the PS2. Replaced it with the PS Slim to play online and put the multi tap away. Years later my daughter wanted to play retro games so I set up the slim but it isn't compatible with the multi taps -aargh! So I bought the original for only twenty pounds. Now I am playing multi player PS1 & PS2 games. Nothing beats people playing bomberman, crash team racing / nitro and of course classics like the Timesplitters trilogy! I love Amazon. I have bought the games I never did ten years ago for on average two pounds! Absolute retro gaming heaven. I have been playing games since Commodore 64 etc. they're rarely refreshed in terms of gameplay and always get updated for newer consoles. Why buy newer when you only end up shelling out £50 for a souled up newer console version,

leaves both tvs, old and new, on no signal, forked out two adaptors because it came with the wrong cable, no box, just came in a delivery bag, so god knows how much more damage it would have received. tested my ps4 and it works so i know there is no faults with the tvs at home, or my own HDMI’s, so disappointed as i wanted to relive the two games of my childhood, and not able to play, will be returning this to get my money back.. would be 0 stars if possible

After well over a decade, the Playstation 2 (PS2) is still an outstanding console by today's standards. Whether you're a racing junkie, a sports fanatic, an epic platformer, a seasoned RPG master, or tactical espionage expert, this system has quality that anyone will find enjoyable. I can confirm, as will anyone, that the PS2 has become just as legendary as it's predecessor, the original Playstation, as well as the current-gen Playstation 3. Being one of the most dynamic and diverse console's to ever grace our televisions, I strongly recommend the PS2 to anyone looking for a well performing machine. 10/10.

Good to use

Console fantastica che, a dispetto della grafica meno "performante" delle sue successori (PS3, PS4 e PS5), offre tuttora un sacco di divertimento con i suoi giochi in tutti i tipi di generi (GDR, Azione, Avventura ecc.)! Come da descrizione, è arrivato completo di tutti gli accessori (controller, cavo AV ecc.) e funziona perfettamente. Un consiglio per gli altri potenziali "nostalgici" (come il sottoscritto): essendo un vecchio hardware, le nuove TV (specialmente quelle OLED) non lo supportano, quindi se avete delle vecchie TV (anche LCD) da parte, tenetevele ben strette! Buone feste!

Tout y est. Bien livré. Suivi du colis et du livreur en temps réel avec précision. Bravo car canicule et aléas d'actualité sur la région. Génial.

Literally bought this for molding and jailbreaking to play nostalgic ps2 games that have been affected by the nostalgia tax. Works great otherwise.
