Yes, this should work with the RPL450-1 model. Not the RPL450-2 which has the power leg option.

Q: Will this work with a hoyer hpl-402? it has the up / down option only.

I am not sure, but I doubt it. Since Hoyer and Invacare are two different manufacturers. Hope this helps.

Q: Can you sell replacement parts for model mds400el pre-2013? i would like to get a replacement for remote control.

The MDS400el is not an Invacare model.
