Excellent compact 1911 grip!
I put this grip on a compact SIG 1911 with a TechnaClip. That combination works well as a grab-and-go concealed carry option without a holster. The rubber Hogue grip is comfortable and provides a great, secure hold on the weapon. For a compact 1911, this is the perfect grip and helps you manage the recoil better. I am super pleased with my purchase.

More Comfortable and Better Shooting
Hogue really does improve the feel and the accuracy of the pistol with these grips. They are reasonably priced and easy to install. It can't hurt to get one and try it. I do recommend!

Springfield 1911 EMP 3.1"
As old age creeps up on me, I find that I am incurring a number of hand-related ailments, such as arthritis and trigger finger in several fingers. Thus, I cast a keen eye towards the grips on my shootin' irons. I am fond of hammer-fired pistols (you couldn't GIVE me a striker fire), which limits my pistol selection. I recently elected to purchase a Springfield 1911 EMP 3.1", but I was not wild about the narrow grip; my concern was maintaining control of the weapon with these old paws.I did quite a bit of research and ran across a Reddit thread where another EMP owner had these same grips. I toddled off to Amazon, located the Hogue grips, was pleasantly surprised at their relative low cost, and ordered one.The Hogue 43000 grips arrived a day later and I eagerly, and quite easily, swapped out the wood grips for the Hogue 43000 grips. WOW! What a COMFORTABLE difference! The rubbery grip added a bit of swell, significant control, and even fit in my DME IWB holster with no issues.I DID have to ever-so-slightly Dremel out about 2mm of additional clearance on the right-hand side of the Hogue 43000 for the right-hand safety. There is already a cutout in the Hogue 43000 for the right-hand safety, but it is just a wee bit too small and completely prevents the safety from operating once all the screws are tightened down. The inside of the Hogue 43000 grip is some sort of hard plastic, but 10 seconds with the Dremel fixed that! All in all, I LOVE the Hogue 43000 grips for the Springfield 1911 EMP 3.1" and HIGHLY recommend it.Thanks, Hogue!

Nice Grip. You may need screws.
Colt defender. resin grips. screws are too short to engage the threaded bushing. you'll need longer grip screws to hold the Hogues on. Standard 1911 screws should work and are sold on Amazon.
