Comp-Tac International OWB Holster for IDPA/USPSA Competition and EDC | Comes with Belt Mount, Paddle Mount, and Drop Offset

I shoot a lot of IDPA matches and some USPSA matches. Over the past ten years I've tried a lot of holsters from a lot of different manufactures. I keep coming back to this one when I buy a new competition pistol. They are durable, fit the gun well, are reasonably adjustable and all at a decent price. I think I'll stop experimenting and just stick with the Comp-Tac International

There are nicer holsters out there for competition, but this gets the job done well at half the price. The mounting holes work great for the BSPS BOSS hanger, that use for USPSA matches.

Holster came installed with the belt slide through fitting. The holster by itself is a really good bargain, good fit and function and even fits both my CZ SP01 and my CZ 75 PCR. Nice retention , overall great. BUT it comes with a paddle option that I could not even try out because the hard to reach screws to take off the sidecar attainment are made of thin cheap metal. I’d have to break the holster to take them off. So what you get is good but if you’re trying to swap between the attachments , good luck.

I got the International - OWB Holster for my glock 34 gen 5. It fitsperfectly! I have the swampfox justice and it doesn't touch at all. The adjustable retention us great. I have ran with it in multiple competitions and never had it even jiggle. I do keep it almost as tight as it can get, but the draw is still crisp every time. I recently purchased a threaded barrel for it and as you can see from the picture, it doesnt touch at all. Well worth the money! No need to spend 200-500 on a safariland. Only thing I am still trying to find is a longer drop extention.

I use this OWB holster paddle for IDPA, range and EDC for a Walther PPQ M2 4", about three times a week for about 7 months now. It clips on/off easily and stays on firm. The side view shows the paddle will accomodate a pretty wide belt. The belt I use is Amazon's True Spec 1 3/4 inch which is great for everyday wear and fits my pants, although it's less thick / rigid than a pure competition belt. I should file down the break off tabs by 1/4" as the paddle comes set for a 1.5" belt but it works well and is so snug so I have not bothered (and I do have 1.5" belts). The holster is semi closed end, from the straight on photo you can see there is good sight clearance, the photo shows clearance for a Trijicon P99/PPQ HD Night Sight from Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IUB0PAG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Adjusting the set screws so it holds securely yet draws nicely was pretty easy. I'd buy it again.

Real nice kit, I used drop offset with belt mount and mounted the paddle mount at bottom of holster which then allowed for a leg strap. This has made for a very secure and extremely comfortable holster setup. Very happy with this product

This holster is exactly what I was looking for. The variety of different mounts are bonus, but I am only interested in mounting it to my daily carry belt. The belt I use is a very thick garrison style 2 inch belt, and the clip provided fit snugly. The retention is fully adjustable. The trigger guard is completed covered by the holster for safety. Cut away has enough clearance for even bigger and longer optics. In my case, it worked great for RMR. Drawing from the holster is very smooth. It can be mounted to different tile as well. There is nothing binding on the holster at all. I did a few matches with the holster, and it worked well through some light jogging of 3 gun courses. I even did some jumps and rolls, and nothing came loose. Overall very happy with the holster. It is also IDPA compliant.

So when I first got the holster I was surprised at the "plasticky" feel. It holds my FNX 45 well.Now for the cons:Zero instructions and finding them is a chore tooIt does not fit snug on a standard belt, there is a lot of lateral movementno security features, so for open carry an assailant could take itIt seems very cheaply made, the bolts holding the screws (if you can call them that) move around and getting the different holders on is a real challenge.Overall if you are just looking for a range or competition holster it will do the job. But it is hard for everyday carry as you have no security, the holster moves around a lot and there is no real support at the barrel end of the holster. I did a little test where I ran with the holster on and the pistol bounces on my upper thigh A LOT. The issue is for FNX 45 owners that there really are not a whole lot of Kydex options out there. So I give it a 3 out of 5.
