i'm 5'6" AND 170, long legs - would a large fit?

I have long legs and am 5’8 & 170lbs. I got a large. I didn’t have issue with the length. Just the waist. I have more of an athletic build and have never had much of a cut in waist. But the waist on these pants is cut small.

Do these shrink in dryer?

No. I wish they did, mine are too baggy and I have medium. They also stretch out a little the more you wear them. I love them though, they have a soft feel, so comfortable.

Rise and inseam lengths for all sizes? I need the crotch to not touch when standing or rub when walking, thank you

You won't have a problem as there is plenty of room there but not too much.

Would these comfortble for a physical job? (Painter, often working on my knees or crouched in awkward positions)

Yes. My job requires a lot of physical movement that also includes crouching, bending and the like. I have not had any issues.

bought the second dress. wanted another color. the first one was amazing, fabric is light and perfect for summer, dress in this color is heavy synthetic. though the description says the same fabric (rayon) bsolutely not suitable for summer.

These pants are super comfortable and very practical. The cargo pockets are perfect. The medium-weight fabric is versatile and can be worn in both warm and cool temperatures. They are my favorite pant for traveling. I've washed them in warm water, hung them to dry and I haven't experienced any shrinkage. I am 5' tall and the Large size is a little long, but the draw-strings at the ankles take care of that easily. I just ordered 2 more colors. I highly recommend!
