Skar AudioSingle 10" Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure Compatible with 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Trucks

I’ll be honest… at first glance, I hated the fact that “SKAR Audio” was displayed largely on the face of this box and really, that’s what kept me at bay for a while looking for other alternatives. Further more, SKAR doesn’t even make a sub to fit into this box, and I wasn’t about to fish out $1k for a jbl equivalent… ridiculous, I know!With only a few minutes, yes, a few minutes of searching on Amazon, I was able to find a 10” sub that would not only fit but also meet my desires when it comes to low end bass. I’ve tried the “subwoofer + amp” combo that you slide under your seat. Please, don’t be fooled. You want to feel it in the chest? You’re not going to with those.With this box + a 10” Pioneer TS-A2500LS4 shallow mount sub combined with a Pioneer GM-D8701 500 watt amp coming in just under a total of $400, I’ve got a really decent sounding system that I am extremely happy with. Long gone are the days of having 2 12’s in my trunk annoying my neighbors every time I drive down our street. While they may not hear me (as much), I still have the same satisfaction of not only hearing the bass, but feeling it as well. This combo kicks hard.There are plenty of other options for shallow mount subs out there that WILL fit this box. A little bit of research, mainly looking for “mounting depth” will yield you some good finds.This is a really great option for those who desire a little more “oomph” in the low end with plenty of head room for more if you so please for your 3rd gen Tacoma. The fit is near perfection and clean. You can install this entire setup without drilling any holes, and keep your Tacoma clean and “factory” as possible with the helpful design of this box.After the install and hearing it for myself, I could really care less what it says on the box.

Didn’t care for Skar white stitching so I colored it in with permanent marker. Puts out really good bass. I was skeptical such a small box with shallow woofer would give me the bass I wanted but this works. Fits perfectly in Tacoma storage space. I went with JBL shallow sub and running Rockford Fosgate 300 what amp. Bass is plenty and way more than I was expecting. Really clean look once installed

Awesome enclosure, excellent build quality, I would not hesitate to purchase again. I wish I could have found it sooner!

It's a nice box , fits the passenger side rear cubby nice and snug. It would be nice for Skar to actually make a sub that fits in the box. Not even the line of shallow subs they carry work with this box. It sucks that they pushed this box out quick to get in the competition but fell short to end up having to go with either kicker or JBL.
