My son has had excellent results with a combination of this and Nature's Vitality ...
My son has had excellent results with a combination of this and Nature's Vitality Kid's Calm supplement. My son was experiencing an extremely high level of painful tics -- shoulder jerking, hard blinking, jaw tensing, etc to the point of bad headaches daily. I purchased tic tamer and the kid's calm on a recommendation from a Tourette's support group. The first 2 days we noticed no differences in his level of tics. On day 3, he woke up, took his 3rd day's worth of supplements and went on about his day. I noticed shortly after that he was sitting quietly, barely ticcing, watching morning cartoons. The combination of these two supplements reduced his tics by around 70%. They were manageable once again and he was no longer in pain. Because they are both a bit pricey, we have tried to go off one or the other to see how he does without them, and his tics start picking back up in frequency. He's been using them both for close to a year now and I would highly recommend them as not a cure, but as a great reducer in frequency/severity of tics.

Doesn't work, it is a waste of money

Helped to reduce the frequency.
I bought this to add to my child's water. There is no taste or odor once added to water. I did actually see a reduction in the severity and frequency of her tics. ( She has a blinking and eye rolling tic ) Since purchasing this 2+ months ago, she has had a great improvement. We do not still use it daily, but only when she is having an increase in her tics. With my daughter, I found that a lot of positive reassurance, rest, and a reduction in dairy and sugar have all been very beneficial. I would not say this is a cure, but it definitely helped to reduce her tics when they were very severe. There are a lot of bogus products and claims I have read and tried since my child's diagnosis, maybe not everything works for each child, but I would give this a try. I hope you have success like we did.

Works but at a cost
This product works to calm tics but at the cost of making you really tired I started taking it in the mornings when I started and it worked but made me so tired I was struggling to get through my day I have sense started taking it before bed and it made a big difference so if you start this I would highly recommend you start taking it before bed but the product does work been taking it for a month and have noticed a difference.

MIRACLE PRODUCT!
I am reviewing this product because it is simply amazing and I pray that it will help other kids as much as it has helped mine. My 9 year old son has had some small tics (blinking, nose scrunching, eyebrow raising) on and off now for about five years, so when I found Tic Tamer and read the reviews, I had to give it a try. Giving him the Tic Tamer along with a Magnesium supplement (Kids Calm or Calm plus Calcium) has always helped resolve his tics. Once they would resolve, I would wean him off, so that I never let his system become dependent or too used to taking them. We never really worried about his tics too much, because they were really minor and we know a lot of kids that went through transient tics up until puberty. However, this year his tics reached a new level, which really concerned us, he was jerking his head, humming and clearing his throat constantly. I know that vocal tics are sometimes a symptom of TS, so I spoke to our Pediatrician about it and he said he thought it was time that he see a Neurologist. Being that the Neurologist appointment was 3 weeks away, I decided to start him or his Tic Tamer/Magnesium combination. I was really skeptical about it working, only because his tics had never been this bad, but by day 3, I saw a a slight decrease, by day 5 a huge difference and by one week he wasn't ticking at all! My husband and I were completely amazed! This product has saved our child from the discomfort and embarrassment of his tics. Just be consistent with it and you will see the results!

Helps...
I bought this because 8 yr. old son has tics that have progressed from simple motor tics to vocal tics as well (throat clearing, nose scrunching). While I think it has helped with the motor tics, no help at all on the vocal. But if it is indeed responsible for the significant reduction in motor tics... I'll take it. Will keep using in hopes that it's helping (not just waxing and waning of tics).

My 4 year old sons tic disorder...
Tried not to get my hopes up while staying optimistic... Really pricey but i was willing to give anything a try... My 4 year old started twitching about 3 months ago starting with sniffing and snorting then switched to blinking really hard to his head and neck twitches and gets really bad when watching t.v./tablet or when his cousin(s) come over...about a week ago it was the worst it was EVERY 1/3 seconds to the point he was holding his head crying that his head hurt because "i cant stop twitching" that brought me to tears.. He tries holding his head and smacks himself in the forehead because he gets so frustrated...so i ordered this got it in 2 days day 1 was no changes day 2 went from every 1/3 seconds to every minute or every other minute, now is day 4 and his cousin is over which is when it usually acts up and ive only saw him do it TWICE and its 2pm..Every morning i give him a flinstone gummy vitamin with 2 magnesium chews that i ordered same time i ordered this, its called "Animal Parade Mag Kids," then I put about 2 sips of water in a cup with 5 drops of tic tamer and then i give him the water/drop ix about 12/1pm again around 5 and before bed... Since he started having tics they act up then go away for 2/3 weeks then come back so there is a chance that this episode just went away but the timing plus how bad it was the prior day I really think its the medicine...again its kinda pricey but ill pay it to see my son not suffer and not have to worry about people staring or having people who dont know any better asking HIM or asking me infront of him "why does he keep twitching?"I highly recommend, even if it doesn't work for you or you child, anything is worth atleast trying

Does Not Help Tics
I have had tics my whole and I was just desperate to try anything new outside of meds. This not only tasted horrible I think it made my tics worse. Don't waste your time.
