Was going to but just a captains hat but the pipe beard combo were the same price so thats a no brainer. Hat is good for boat rides which is what i bought it for. The beard is actually pretty nice too, which I wasnt expecting. Nice surprise. Great for halloween or just funny costume.

It's cheap, yes. The hairs fall out of the beard faster than a shedding Persian cat. Other than that, if you want to look kinda like a boat Captain, this is the disguise for you. It was fun. Pretty sure the pipe would be "functional", although I do not recommend trying... although I was tempted.

I didn't expect to be getting a 3,000 thread count item for what I paid for it, so I think the hat is just fine quality. Thick enough fabric. Pipe is good quality. I'm not a pipe smoker, but it looks like a real pipe made of wood. The beard is very large. It was even too big for my husbands face. They may not all be cut the same width, so if that's a concern, ask seller for dimension before purchase. Otherwise, hat held up through many kids and many drunk people in the photobooth for 3 hours several different nights so far!

The bear is itchy and looks like it was cut out if a sheet of faux fur. Like a cheap throw blanket. Yikes. The hat and pipe are awesome though!

I bought this set to be used as props for a photo booth at my friend’s wedding. This was a favorite of so many people, young and old. Great quality. I could see it being used as a costume for a Halloween or in a stage play. It was much better quality than I was expecting.

This was awesome. Great value and the grey hairs throughout made it look more natural. Pipe was legit. Nice quality.Only bad thing was the beard shed like crazyyyy.But for the price, we didn't mind

This was a great gag gift for my son's graduation from Cal Maritime Academy! Everything fit very well and it went perfectly with his graduation dress uniform... We joke that this is fast forward of him in 40 or 50 years! :-)
