Oypla Portable Aluminium Electric Towel Rail Warmer with 6 Heated Bars

I now wonder why I've never bought one of these before! I live in a damp house and simply hate pulling on damp clothes in the morning, this is brilliant, I switch it on before I go to bed, it takes the chill off my bedroom and in the morning my clothes are toasty.It's attractive too, a satin finish aluminium, and the rails are square so the things don't slip off. It's extremely light and the feet slide on very easily and are fixed with two screws, it's very stable.I also use it to air my ironing as well as dry towels, extremely useful, takes up no space unlike an electric airer.I am at a loss to see how another reviewer has rated it as expensive to run. At 100w it's the same as an old light bulb. If you are now paying 35p a kW for your electricity, it will take 10 hours before it has cost you just 35p.....a hundred hours before it will cost you £3.50,One last thing...it heats up in seconds and all the rails and the two supports get very hot, really hot, I was pleasantly surprised and would thoroughly recommend

Not received yet had email to say delivery has been delayedUpdateReceived!..Very lightweight and gets quite warm..Feet are a bit wobbly but will get my son to see if he can tighten these more than I have..Would have given 5 if these had tightened for me

Great value for money.economical to use . Warms up very quickly .easy to assemble.handy size.reasonable quality .handy to stand anywhere as you need it.appearance is neat.

Don’t understand the reviewer who said they needed a hammer to put this together - it couldn’t have been easier….two feet, screws included and holes ready to put them in - took a couple of minutes max.The rail heats to a decent heat level and is great for drying damp towels. It’s a nice size with 6 rails so plenty of room….it looks good and performs extremely well. I used it for drying some washing too and it didn’t disappoint. Very impressed overall.

I measure wattage used as 115 watts. So doing your sums using the latest EDF tariff price of 23.84p KWH, you get 8.7 hrs use per KWH. That equates to 2.74p per hr of use.My concern is the heat generated under a towel hanging on the rail after a while, becomes very hot. Hot enough to burn you. I hope the manufacturer knows about this.Assembly a straight forward except that the cross head screws aren’t very good. Phillips or Pozidrive heads on the screws? I’m not sure. They’re not very good slots though.
