Easy to use, usually peel off, helps me keep my nails stronger and look good naturally
I didn't know about these builder, rubber base gels until my niece told me as I was complaining of how brittle my nails have become and I didn't want to further damage with normal gel manicures. These are a nice way to help my nails get stronger and longer and still have a nice color or milky look with a top coat on. Using a top coat I could also put some mineral powder color on if I wanted, and the base still protects my nail bed. Alone I look like I have natural nails only shiny. They don't last as long as a monthly manicure before starting to come off, but they come off easy, kind of peel off. I like having an option as I grow my nails out instead of just natural and plain. I'm hoping it helps with my aging nails of ridges and splits to keep stronger also, but they definitely smooth out my nail look.

i love it.. if you’re having issues w/ it, read this review
the clear fiberglass rubber base gel is 10/10. if you’re having issues w/ it then it’s probably user error bc it’s so easy to use & works great when used the right way! i promise. i have never been able to grow my nails out & use gels w/out destroying my natural nails before i found this stuff. 1. if it’s not drying.. you’re not curing it long enough. this is a UV rubber base. it has to be cured under a UV light. if you’re having issues w/ gels curing then your light may not be strong enough or you may need to replace it if it’s old. even when it’s cured, it’s GOING TO REMAIN STICKY! it’s a base gel. it’s sticky so the layers you put on top can grip better. cure it longer if you’re still having issues. 2. it’s too thick you might just have an older bottle or the bottle/gel may be too cold. warm it up in your hands for a couple minutes before using. or put it in your armpit for a bit. i know that’s weird. but it works. besides that it’s SUPPOSED to be thicker. you want a thicker rubber base bc thats going to protect your nails better, strengthen your manicure & prevent it from dripping or spreading to your cuticles as easy. you still want to use as thin of a layer as possible. but it’s not supposed to be as thin as a normal, non gel base/top coat. 3. it’s peeling off quickly or won’t stay on you’re not prepping your nails correctly. you need to clean your nails, then gently file the surface w/ a 180/200/240 grit file to roughen up the surface a bit to give the base gel something to adhere to. don’t go nuts. just enough to get rid of the smoothness of your natural nail. after you file, clean your nails w/ 90% isopropyl alcohol. then use a nail prep dehydrator let dry for 1+ minutes, then use a non-acid ph bond on top & let that dry for 1+ minutes. then that will ensure the base gel grips to the nails & there’s no oil or anything left on your nail that will prevent it from sticking. 4. it won’t come off easily i’ve never had this issue whatsoever. not w/ dip powders on top, regular gels, soft builder gels etc. you’re either not using the right acetone or remover or you’re not soaking long enough or using enough acetone/remover. the best way to remove non-hard gels is to fill a bowl w/ hot water, grab a ziploc bag, soak a paper towel in 100% acetone (w/out any added oils, only ingredient should be acetone. the “soak off” specific acetones are not as effective) you can also add a little bit of coconut oil to the acetone to help keep your fingers from drying to much.. file off the top layers of your gel/soft builder/dip & then out your nails directly into the soaked paper towel in the bag. then close up the bag around your wrist & dunk your hand that’s in the bag in the hot water. let that sit for a few minutes, make sure to keep the water warm. every couple minutes, take your hand out & gently scrape the layers of gel off. then put your hand back into the bag, while keeping the water warm & repeat until you remove everything. if you’re still having issues, you can buy those gel removers on here. but in my experience they do more damage to the nails. you can also use cotton balls soaked in acetone & put them directly onto the nails you’re having issues w/ cleaning, wrap your fingers in tin foil & then put your hand in a bag & put that in hot water. bonus tip: you can also use a small crockpot & fill it w/ warm water, turn it on & then put a glass bowl on top w/ the bottom of the bowl touching the hot water. then pour pure acetone & a little coconut oil into the bowl on top, soak your nails in the acetone/oil & do the same thing. scrape the layers off & repeat. if none of these work then maybe you got a lemon bottle. i’d exchange it for a new one. bc this product works great if it’s not a defective bottle. also, there’s going to be little “hairs” in the base gel. that’s the fiberglass. that’s what makes it strong.

Perfect base
I started using this on top of my gel x sets and it’s the perfect nude color. Everyone gravitates towards this color. Will be ordering more to keep on stand by. It’s so pretty!

very nice!
i got the shade dirty pink and it’s such a great nude for my skin tone. i personally like my nude shades more on the pink side so if you don’t like that as much don’t get this color. it’s a pretty good builder gel and it’s very easy to work with. it is on the sheer side so if you don’t build it up it’s definitely see through. i’m a beginner diy kinda gal so i don’t have crazy skills but it got the job done for sure and made my nails look more professional

Good product but you may need to try a few colors
I like the way this product self levels for builder gel overlay sets. I’m a diyer like most people here buying their products for better than salon results. If you apply a thin layer at first, then another bead on top to form the apex, use a detailer brush to get that beautiful shape you can achieve a look that doesn’t need finish filing (unless you want to). The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars is because the product has a purple tone that is different than the pictures. Other reviewers say it’s great for tan/darker skin tones, but I think the product should look like it does in the picture listing. I will continue to buy these products though because they are a good price and easy to work with.

Holy Grail for Brittle Nails & Oily Nailbeds
I’ve struggled for years to find a polish product that lasted for 2+ weeks without chipping off, and this product was my answer! I have brittle, thin nails with oily nail beds. acrylics, gels, superglue, etc. just wouldn’t adhere for more than 5-10 days for me. OPI’s regular polish was the longest lasting at 10 days. I recently started researching options for my dilemma (I had gone almost two years without wearing any polish). I learned about rubber builder bases made specifically for my fingernail issues. Even better, I found this particular one that blended fiberglass for increased strength. It’s awesome! 💪 I found that getting a rubber builder base manicure for short to medium length nails would cost me a minimum of $60 each time at the salon. I decided to spend my money by investing in all the products I needed to do this manicure. From the UV lamp to gel starter kits, and tools, I spent about $70. These products will easily last me a year, and I don’t have to tip anyone. If you’re anything like me, save your sanity, save time, and save money and invest in the DIY approach. This product ROCKS!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Really runny
It’s a really pretty color and does add strength and sturdiness to the nails but it is overly runny I don’t know if it was just the temperature of my room but it was really runny and hard to use even when it was placed in ice water to help thicken it, it still was very runny

Thick consistency
It’s an affordable rubber base! It’s not transparent which I like and when it cures it looks a bit like a berry pink rather than light pink. I usually do one or two coats for structure. The smell is okay, it is somewhat tacky when it’s cured.

It is good product but very very thick for a rubber base. It is more like a polygel

The product is okay , doesn’t chip but the colour doesn’t look like the picture at all.
