IT HAS PICTURES!
The best slow cooker recipe book. Its gorgeously designed and so personal. The pictures are AMAZING and the "suggestions" was a phenomenal idea! The size & the weight of the pages are perfect. I actually have read the whole book & have made several of the recipes & they were screaming scrumptious! 🍝🍸👍🙋♀️

B & W photos!
Great recipes, but I would have paid more to have color photos of the food. Not very appetizing.

This cookbook could be called ‘Cooking for Two, Three or Our
This is a cookbook of easy meals. Many of the recipes use canned soup and sometimes two different soups. This frequently results in creating servings for three or four people. The recipe add a note you’ll have leftovers. in my case far too many leftovers. I picked a cookbook for two because I’m single and while I wanted leftovers. I did not want a weeks worth of leftovers. The recipes are easy but use a lot of can food, including canned soup, canned beans, Italian sauce, canned gravy and more. Many can foods are loaded with salt. I do not recommend this cookbook if you’re on a low salt diet.

Misleading title
I have bought a small (1.5l) slow cooker for my Mum for Christmas because she just cooks for two and finds that she has too much left over when she uses her larger (3.5l) slow cooker. If she reduces the quantities in recipes there isn't enough to use the large slow cooker properly because they are meant to be about two thirds full. Also, she has problems sometimes when she tries to scale down recipes. So this book appeared to be the answer - especially written, supposedly, for the smaller slow cooker and the cook making food for two people. The problem is that the vast majority of the recipes in the book are still for the larger 3.5l slow cooker. From my perspective it is not fit for the purpose I intended. Also, having read through it, it is very American in terms of the type of food and also in some cases the required ingredients. I can guarantee that my 86 year old Mum won't be interested in cooking Sloppy Joes, Chilli Burgers, Quilters Soup or Souhtwest Breakfast Burritos! But that is personal taste so I don't criticise the book for that but I do feel mislead about the portions.

Disappointing. Title is misleading
While I like that every recipe has a colour illustration of the finished dish, this is NOT a cookbook for someone looking to cook for a small household of one or two. 50% or more are for 4 servings and some have 6 servings, which they get around by having a note "This recipe makes enough for seconds or leftovers!" If I wanted a bunch of leftovers I could have ordered any 'regular' slow cooker cookbook. Also note that a lot of the recipes have ingredients like tins of condensed soup--Possibly okay for a novice cook. Not a cookbook I can recommend.
