Simple good alcohol burner. I use it to melt wax for wax seals on envelops. It burns hotter than the little handheld Bic lighters i was using, so it works quicker. Others have noted that the snuff cap is not a tight fit, so you could get loss of alcohol from the tank by evaporation. So I pushed a rubber garden hose washer on the top and the cap snugs right onto it.

the only thing not great is the wick holding cap doesn't get an airtight seal. putting rubber bands around the sides of the cap can help it seal tight.

Haven't used it ye! So I'm providing the benefit of the doubt here. It's simple device so it should work okay. I don't have the right fuel yet.
