Q: Are they easy to cut, as I don't want the full height?

Should be easy to cut with a fine tooth saw. The metal spike is only a few inches into the plastic.

Q: Are these 4ft in size?

We supply these and they are 3ft above ground.

Q: How do you attach plastic insulators

You don't. These are plastic so they are great big insulators - the tape / wire / rope can be fitted directly to them. You only need insulators when you're attaching the wire to a metal post. (Though obviously they also make attaching to wooden posts a lot easier too!)

Q: What is the height above ground please?

Normal size, Iuse them for a Shetland pony.and before this a large Highland pony. They are a good size and strong.. The Shetland can jump but cannot get over these posts when I use the top tabs..
