My 2 year old great niece comes over weekly and spends a lot of time with this. She learns colors , fruits and vegetables. Organizes them. Great educationally too. Packs away real nice too!

We bought it for our daughter when she was 1.2 years old as a Christmas gift. These are her first play foods, so I approached the choice very carefully. It was important for me that the set was safe, but also offered a wide variety of items. I looked through many different sets before choosing this one, including soft and wooden options. What mattered most to me was that the foods would be familiar to a toddler. Many other sets included quite unusual fruits and vegetables instead of basic, everyday ones, which made me hesitant. This set is perfect in that sense. The plastic feels very sturdy, the colors are bright, and everything looks very realistic, including the details inside the cut pieces. The Velcro holds very securely, and I honestly doubt it will ever come off. I did see some reviews mentioning small parts, which initially worried me. However, that hasn’t been an issue for us. Even the smallest pieces still look quite large in my daughter’s hands, so it’s unlikely she could put them fully in her mouth. That said, I still supervise her during play, just to be safe. This set is great for many different types of play and developmental skills. It helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination while cutting with the toy knife, color sorting, food classification, and imaginative play. The set is well thought out and includes everything needed to start learning about food: knives, cutting boards, plates, sorting baskets, and a shopping basket, with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and protein foods.

Adorable my nephews and nieces love it and so does my classroom it’s a staple! Doesn’t get old and kids adore it!! So fun ! Easy to keep clean and creative! Great gift idea

Good quality, nice toys

My one year old absolutely loves this! We will spend awhile pulling apart the food and Velcro it back together. Babies love Velcro and it is super cute to watch my baby use her strength to pull it apart and make a confused but determined look until she gets it lol. There are a lot of pieces, fruit, veggies, fish and meat. A couple of pieces have smaller pieces inside of them which I am withholding for now until she gets bigger. There are buckets and stickers which you apply the stickers yourself, they help separate the food by either colors or proteins/veggies etc. there are a couple of plates and a plastic knife to “cut open” the food. Also withholding for now so no choking or anything. Overall, would recommend this to keep your babies/toddlers busy!
