These are a great alternative for a chair rug. I replaced the carpet in my home with laminate/hard wood type flooring. My office chair rolled too freely over the new surface, and I worried about scratches over time. I tried a rug, but it bunched up and was inconvenient. The set comes with a pry tool that lets you get the old casters off. The bottom is rimmed with a very thick pad that lets the chair slide very easily if no one is sitting on it, but keeps the chair from moving when in use. So, while I have to stand to adjust the chair, I prefer the new set up. The height of the castor allows for clearance from the center bottom of the chair. Love 'em.

Absolutely, 100% perfect. If you have a chair that tries to roll away from you or you spend half your time trying to adjust the "spokes" on the base of your chair to make room for your feet, this is the product for you. I am so happy with it I could cry. They are sturdy and easy to put on the chair. I can still move the chair easily enough when I want to, but it no longer moves when I don't want it to and the height is perfect. I am also sure that my floor (new laminate) will not be harmed. Funny name, but they work great. I’m using 2 of these with 3 standard wheels to get a mix of stability and movement. It lets me slide or roll when I want, but keeps the chair grounded when I don’t. I sit in this chair all day, every day, and they’ve held up without issues. Height matched my chair well, which is important — check that before buying. Install is simple plug & play like most chair feet. Solid build, no problems so far.

Does as listed, it's stationary casters that repeat the feet of your chairs which are likely wheels. I do wish they had more staying power that prevents them from moving but you can just be conscious when getting up so it's not that bad.

Love these! I wanted to change my office chair so it wouldn’t roll over my new tile floor. Theses are the exact height as the rollers on my chair were. They are easy to change and fit perfectly. The measurements given are precise!

Great concept; did not work for me. I had bought a large person office chair. I was wanting a chair that had room to move; unlike a couple others I had bought. I am obese and it said the chair was for up to 400? ( I weigh 242) I was too short for the chair. It did not fit me in the butt up to neck area. I have scoliosis, so that didn't help. I can't tell you how many times I slid off the chair either because my knee to back area didn't reach the back of the chair or I dozed off at my desk (home) I even had a silicone pad for cooking that helped a lot in keeping me in the chair. At times I would use a step stool. I thought these would help with keeping me in the chair. I just did not think they would be so hard to move the chair with them. Recently, I put the wheels back on. Still use a step stool to get on it and the silicone pad. It will work for now. Oh, I am 5'1", If you remember Laugh In and Edith Ann. That's how I felt. It was squeeking a lot. Nothing a little WD-40.

These work really well and are easy to install. I’ve had these for a long time now, and they have not damaged the floor in any way. They have a really great design that both protects the floor and keeps it from getting scratched and at the same time does not allow the chair to move when you’re sitting in it.

I was regretting my purchase of a glass chair mat until finding these. I installed the bell glides and no more flying around my office. These are perfect. I now stay put but can slide just enough to get in and out my chair.
