Good pillow covers, soft, high quality, good natural material. My only message is that they had a smell when I go them, had to wash and dry them before use. After that, no odor.

Because of this I left a 5-star review for the SELLER, Total Bedding Solutions and would not hesitate to buy a different product from them. This said, my review of the organic cotton pillow protectors as shown below remains unchanged. Original Review: Be forewarned - I just received the AllerEase Organic Cotton pillow protectors in the standard/queen size. I like the organic cotton fabric but when I washed in cold water and dried on low heat the pillow protectors shrunk so much that they barely fit a standard size pillow - it is a very tight squeeze to zip shut. There is absolutely no way these pillow protectors would ever fit a queen size pillow. Also, I was very surprised and disappointed to find the inside of the cases are not finished properly. The fabric edges were left raw, no overlock stitch so there are a lot of loose threads and fraying. The protectors were washed right side out, zippers closed, in cold water on delicate cycle. I am including a photo to show the fraying and unfinished edges. In my opinion this is unacceptable. I purchased 2 sets of these pillow protectors; I will definitely be returning the second set that has not been opened for a refund. I cannot recommend this product.

I liked the idea that it was organic… that was it’s biggest selling point. They aren’t very soft.. expected them to be softer.. they are also a light brown in color I’m assuming bc they aren’t a bleached cotton. Tho I can’t see the color through my white cotton pillowcase… which was a concern when I took them out of their packaging. I’m hoping they will soften more going forward … they remind me of burlap in its texture. . I was concerned abt how they were “finished” inside of the protector bc of a review I had read ..But mine were finished nicely inside. I wasn’t totally thrilled how it dries in the dryer.. it kinda bunches up instead of tumbling smoothly .. even if there are several other items in the dryer also .. so when done it does wrinkle. The zipper seems sturdy and good. Overall.. I will keep the one package and see how it does in the subsequent washes before I decide whether to keep the second set I ordered.
