XtremepowerUS 1/2 HP Above Ground Swimming Pool Pump, 3120 GPH High-Flow Self-Priming Pool & Spa Pump with 24-Hour Programmable Timer, 115V, 1.5" Inlet & Outlet, for Pool, Spa & Pond Filtration

Extremely pleased with the product. After a proper primming and safety check, being certain I connected an earth ground to the grounding screw clamp on the side of the pump. My first run time for 2 hours completely removed the cloudy water with the addition of a water filter sock connected to the outflow line. The pump is extremely powerful and easy to hookup and use. An excellent value for your money for a midsized swimming pool that doesn't rely on it to be running 24 hours 7 days a week. A must NOT 🚫 to allow air inside the pump during operation nor neglect flow restriction from a full filter basket or output water filter sock. Must keep periodic watch and cleaning maintenance at all time.

Tuve que cambiar mi bomba por esa y a la verda super bueno y no tube que hacer ningun cambio

XtremepowerUS 1/2HP Pool Pump for Above Ground Swimming Pool 3240GPH I bought my first pump off Amazon, I bought it in July of 2023, installed it and it worked flawlessly for about 4 months (how convenient that it only had a 3-month warranty) I contacted the seller who told me to check the fuse and replace the battery. I did both and it still didn't work. I was told to call the manufacturer which you can only email because they take so long to respond. They told me the same thing, so by late December I basically gave up and decided to just eat it and buy another since they were reasonably inexpensive, (I figured I had just received a lemon by bad luck). This time I bought it from Home Depot thinking they would stand behind it on the off chance it went out again. I bought it in February and once again it worked flawlessly for about 4 months until the middle of June. Rinse repea,t same thing, they told me to change the battery and check the fuse. I did that and emailed them back and just like the first one no response after that. I think it's something with the circuit board, no light and no power. I went back to my 8-year-old Intex pump (old faithful) to get me through until the new Intex c2500 arrived. The C2500 has a 2-year warranty so even if it goes out at 2 years and 1 month it will have lasted 8 times longer than the ExtremepowerUS pumps have. The 8-year-old Intex pump I keep around to drain my 20 ft above ground pool and spa. If you want to buy this pump I suggest you buy the 2 year warranty otherwise stay away! Bad experience all the way around especially when dealing with the manufacturer. I have 1 pic of the 8-year-old pump that was better than both ExtremepowerUS pumps combined.

I had two Intex pumps before this one. This one is very quiet in comparison. 4 stars because it is smaller and "plastic-y". Need to see how it holds up in Florida.

Reliability excellent

First of all the Post Office delivered to the wrong address on 6/9/2025 and I didn't get the package until 6/11/2025. Second, I tried to register the product on 6/14/2025 and I keep getting Error occured, unable to upload the attachment. I did get the pump installed on the 12th. It has a higher GPH than my previous pump. Since my above ground pool did not have a running pump for almost 2 weeks, (I kept it covered for that time) the pool water is looking pretty good. I am thinking that I may be able to set it at 12 hours running in the near future. I like the long power cord and the ability to turn off the pump without unplugging it. The water flow is great.

Very quiet while running.

Despite its obvious cheap price I was attacted by the flow 5 HP flow rate, It was easy to install...no leaks and nearby power. It was on for about 6 hours, But then it stopped and I cant restart it. It did run very well, driving a full sized kreepy Krauly and a return via a hottub. ...thru a Sand filter with a refresh of new sand. It is very cheaply made but looks like a more expensive model. Money wasted and Im still wating for a new replacement. I dont want to be further disappointed.
