I ordered three different fairy gardens from this brand for my kids (5, 7, and 9). They love it! They don't care about the garden/seeds part (nice bonus though). They put their fairy homes together themselves (I supervised because some pieces are small). They love playing with the fairies and the house. We placed the fairies in the garden outside. The fairy gardens spark imaginative play! The kids want to make an entire fairy city now! The cuteness is too much!

My kids like these for playing with. We use them as a little play set. We always throw out the seeds that come with it so they last longer. Over all great for creative play. Would be a great gift for a 4-8 year old.

I like the playset - I think it's really cute. Our toddler is 4 years old and we don't have too many issues with small parts. She has put an m&m up her nose recently that was unexpected although we eventually got it out. This playset has pretty small parts so consider that against any issues you have with you child before purchasing.But the playset looks really cute and our preschooler likes tiny figures to carry around. The playset does have a 'grow' component that reminds me of the chia pets from the past. But when given the option of play vs grow, a 4 year old chooses to play with the part that grows the garden. It looks like it would work fine for growing micro herbs and the seeds are included. But so far we have not tested that part out yet. As a play item, I rate this very highly with the exception of tiny pieces.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she loved building the fairy tree and balloon for her fairy garden. The little dragon, fairy, and balloon are great toys for kids to play with apart from the garden. Now she is anxiously awaiting her new garden to begin to sprouting.

This toy and plant set is absolutely adorable! Perfect for any child who likes both dolls and gardens, and simple enough for a young kid while being engaging for older kids too. I appreciate that it comes with not just the toys, not just the seeds, but even the dirt! (Also, coriander--yum! We will absolutely use that.)All you need is water and they can get started playing right away. The minifigs are well made and look great--the little fairy and dragon are super cute! I love that the toy moves around and is similar in style to some other small dolls we already have. This will spark her imagination for making up stories, while also helping her remember to water her plants!Finally, the Earth-friendly message of this toy/company is amazing. My daughter is already eco-conscious, and the extra resources that come in this kit are a great way to help kids be more mindful about the environment.Love it!

This is a really cute gardening play set for kids aged 4+, although I think to do the planting and caring for the seeds, the child should probably be at least 6 or 7, but younger kids can enjoy it with help. The playset itself is nice quality and easy to set up. The little figures are reminiscent of the LEGO "friends" line, and probably scale with them for the most part, the little dragon is super cute. Once you have the coriander seeds planted, you can remove the balloon for high-flying adventures while your plants grow in the sunlight. Eco-friendly message and every purchase contributes to the planting of trees, according to the box. Included "field guide" gives more info about the characters and more activities. There are other "fairy garden" sets by PlayMonster, several of them would make a super cute display in a child's window sill or play room. Fun and educational.
