This product is for all aquatic fish as well as frogs or newts, Robert. Tropical fish are freshwater fish that prefer warm water.

Yes bloodworms are like a beef for fish but flakes have more well rounded nutrients I give to my goldfish as a treat. Also, these bloodworms do not cloud the water.
