These harmonicas work really well and are absolutely adorable! They’re easy to use, and the build quality is surprisingly sturdy — it would be almost impossible for a child to bend or break one. The sound is clear for a small toy, and I honestly don’t know a kid who wouldn’t enjoy playing with one. They make great gifts and are perfect for party favors, stocking stuffers, or just fun everyday toys. The sound is clear and accurate. Easy to use. Seems sturdy after hitting the floor a few times. Bought this after seeing the 14 month old grandchild's frustration trying to play a kid's toy harmonica. This Swan Harmonica is a new obsession. Easy-to-use and pleasant enough for the adults in the room, lol.

Works well! Not as good as my $50 harmonica but great for beginners.

This was the first harmonica I picked up about a month and change ago. I ran into the common issue of the 2 draw which led me to wonder if it was the harmonica itself - it wasn't. I picked a Fender C and had the same issue. With a month of practice I have the problem solved on most days. However there is a difference between the two. The Swan has a more muffled noise to it, it lacks the sharp, fuzzy sound the Fender does and sounds noticeably quieter and duller. It's as if the holes have a bit of debris on them or are actually dulled, and this isn't something that was fixed by rinsing it. That said, it's still a wonderful harp for the price. I still use it regularly as I don't want to leave it out of practice. But it's proof that, for this at least, the price did make a difference. I'd like to try a Hohner Special 20 C to see if that's worth it's reputation over the Fender as well. However, the Swan C is still good.
