This item is great! I have 3 shedding dogs, including one that is part Husky, and have dog fur all over. This makes cleaning up after them so easy. You have to remember to pull towards you for the vacuum to pick up what you've swept. It even works on carpet, but not as good as on bare floors. The bristles are stiff so it makes it easy to pull off the fur that attaches to the bristles. It works in small areas where the fur tends to collect. It also works to collect fur over my sister's oxygen cords that have static electricity. No downside at all. The battery is decent and lasts several uses, and I empty the cup after every use. I'm so glad I bought it.

This seemed like it would be the perfect tool for a house with pets, making it simple to give the floors a quick clean up. WRONG. It is a useless piece of plastic and I wish I would have returned it. There isn't enough suction to make any difference, so you're just sweeping dirt into lines or piles with an inferior broom. It's annoying to empty the dust cup because you have to stick your fingers in to pull hair out. It's annoying to twist the bin off to get to the filter because it's hard to do and you accidentally turn it on repeatedly while struggling with it. I haven't used it long enough to test the battery life because I get so frustrated that I go get a regular broom and dustpan to be done with it. Don't spend money on this. Dirt Devil should be ashamed of this product.

I LOVE this Broom Vac. There are a lot of negative reviews that mention lack of suction and quality. I do want to mention that it is a great BROOM. It is not a vacuum cleaner and will not replace the need for a standalone vacuum but it works great for its intended purpose. I thought this specially for vacuuming our hardwood stairs and landings, as it was killing my back to lug a heavy vacuum up three flights of stairs every couple of days. That being said, you do still need to sweep with it because it is a broom. Once there is a neat line of dust, fur, and in my case, cat litter, the Broom Vac does an excellent job of sucking it up. We have 4 cats and 5 dogs that track litter and fur all over the stairs and I have LOVED using this to save my back. Again, it will not replace the need for an actual vacuum cleaner and is not marketed to do such.Regarding suction power, I have no issues sucking up the litter, fur, dust, or even pieces of dog kibble left behind. I love and recommend this product. My only complaint is that the bristles are a little short and can be awkward to sweep corners.

You can’t sweep from the front of the cabinets, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, or under furniture because the dust cup is too close to the broom and hits the cabinets and furniture. I think this is a major design flaw. If you have a long stretch of cabinets you can turn it to the side but I guess mine set further back so I couldn’t get up to the kick-plate nor could I get into corners due to the dust cup blocking me from doing so. Seems ok for wide open areas but you can’t get under any furniture without the dust cup banging into your furniture. Wonder if the designers of this item even tried to use this in an actual home with corners, furniture, or cabinets?Tried it again. I think they should call this an electronic dust pan. Just better to sweep with a regular broom so you can actually get into the places with dust and then use this instead of a regular dust pan to get most of the dust picked up. You still will have some remaining. This is way overpriced. Max value is $29.99. Commercials are a joke.

I like the idea. I feel like the suction should be stronger. But for the most part it works pretty well. I think I'll probably end up purchasing the stationery type that you sweep over to and it vacuums the trash that way.

first of all it came 2 days earlier and well packed. It took me a cple of secs to connect all parts. A cple of minutes to screw in the hanging bracket. It was charged and ready to use. I tried it on my 5ftx5ft 2in thick rug and it worked very nice. My pitty girl loves to hide her dry dog food in the rug and I was able to vacuum it up immediately. Then I vacuumed my wood floors with no problems. I love when I get a bang for my bucks! I'm confident it will serve me very well. Great vacuum if you suffer from carpet tunnel/arthritis then this is for you since it's lightweight Try it.😜

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. This is probably Dirt Devil’s worst product offering. They need a version 2 to iron out the kinks. I live in a unit with hardwood flooring.I’ve tried this day one and while it’s a great idea to combine a broom with a mini vacuum, the concept does not execute well on either fronts-The brush thistles while thick, are so “flatly” aligned with the base that it feels like I’m scratching the floor trying to move/scrape debris and dirt no matter what way I try to sweep it; the problem is masked when you have the vacuum on where the vacuum hole gives a less friction experience trying to sweep normally.-I don’t know if my product just can’t hold a charge well, but the vacuum doesn’t seem that powerful compared to Dirt Devil’s other offerings. It’s serviceable, but you have to align your broom often so that the debris hits the small hole in the middle of the base. I don’t know why this was designed this way. It doesn’t feel good like what’s advertised on video.-Easy to assemble and compile though. Weight seems fineAgain, great concept, but doesn’t seem useful for real world applications. Back to the classic broom and brush and dustpan for me.

It worked one day then it don't been sitting in my closet because it doesn't vacuum up the dirt

I would recommend this product. I read mixed reviews but took the chance based on one review I read. "Once you sweep your floor flip the broom over and the suction picks everything up". Works great on things like tree needles, cat crunchies and of course hair and dust. Super easy to empty. Yes the bristles could be a bit longer but it works just fine even in the corners.

Not enough suction to properly sweep and pick up bits of food and debris around my kitchen table area. Returned it.

Not as good as I had hoped for. Does not pick up dirt off shoe's. It's not real easy to use, won't fit under thing's.

Une fois terminé, je mets le contact et ça aspire très bien. Plus besoin de garder avec soi le porte-poussière ou se pencher.Il y a même des petites roues sous le balai pour aider le glissement.Satisfaite.
