Useful tool!
I bought these flashcards so my grandson who does not speak yet can convey what he wants or needs. He gets so frustrated that he can’t communicate and in turn screams or hits things. I hope these cards relieve some of his frustration while he is developing language skills.

Wasted money!!
This may literally be the worst purchase I've ever made. And I've made some pretty dumb Purchases before. Not only are the items mislabeled with the pictures but they are also made out of the cheapest quality of paper. It took me longer to get the damn cards on the ring than it took my son to have the cards coming off. Just pulled off with zero effort.Save your money or join the club of people who have pissed their money away on buying this.

Good possible communication
The only downside I found is that the cards are not durable over time. They need to be laminated to last. Otherwise it is a good source of possible communication with a nonverbal autistic child. The size are perfectly easy to see and most pictures are right on. The ring for the cards is a normal size ring so it’s only ideal for a forth of the cards to be on at a time but the bungee cord makes a extra security for not losing them.

Could Have Better Cards
There were plenty of cards included. However, having a 5 yr old autistic grandson I figured out quickly that there were a lot of cards that were not necessary that could’ve actually been replaced with more necessary ones. My grandson isn’t totally nonverbal, but he is limited by simple words. We are working on sentences. He’s doing much better. I haven’t given this to him yet, as it is part of a Christmas gift. I will try to remember to update my review later. He tends to take things apart, so we will try to give him these as he needs something and try to see if it helps him at all with words he has trouble communicating. The pictures could be a little better for what some of them depict as well. The main thing I found irritating right off the bat, was that it came with a lot of cards, and a very small keychain type keyring. Not even half would fit on the ring without it tearing up the cards when you move them around. My daughter is a nurse and brought me home a ring from a supply package at the hospital that was 2-3 times larger than the ring that came with it. This worked much better. They have larger rings at Hobby Lobby, or Michael’s as well. Just know that this will be an issue with the cards and be ready to find something else to house them on. They really should come with a much larger ring!

This is an ok product
The cards are exactly as pictured. The photos and font are clear and easy to read. However the cards arent event as thick as standard playing cars or even laminated around the hole for the ring. The cards almost ripped putting them on the ring. The ring and stretch cord are very cheap quality. I dont forsee them being very durable. However for $10 they are an okay entry point to the world of AAC devices and aides.

Perfect for its intended use
This product would be perfect for its intended use, I bought this for my brother in law as he is both on the spectrum and has Down syndrome. I wish his parents reinforced its use more especially when he’s out with the family or at work, I feel like getting these is a must particularly for people who have issues communicating.
