Finishes great
Used this veneer to redo an older dresser. Not a whole lot of sanding required and finishes beautifully. Very good value item.

ZERO STARS...DO NOT BUY
This is an inferior product and worthless. This product cost me time and money because it bubbled up. The wood is not glued to the backer and let's loose causing bubbles you cannot remove. Even using heat gun and then clamping, the bubbles came back. I am a professional cabinet maker of over 40 years and know what I am doing and have veneered a million pieces. None have done this. Pure garbage. Then I had to remove, purchase a new veneer from a reputable dealer and redo the entire table for my client. Don't be tempted by the low price. YOU WILL BE SORRY . What a nightmare.

Comes rolled, A bit cumbersome to use, difficult to unroll and straighten before use. Paper backing.
Nice appearance, comes rolled up, unrolling it for use is cumbersome, it split along the grain a little when attempting to unroll it, even after steaming it. Paper backing is not to my liking. I use wood veneer to refurbish my collection of vintage audio receivers cabinets.

Poorly produced product
This product was a waste of many hours, money and headaches. This product cost me money. Missed my deadline for the production of tabletops in white oak.Out of the box this veneer has ripples that a very careful application of contact cement wouldn't hold down. The product is also flawed in the way it is produced or dried (which may partially explain the ripples) - or it is produced from old wood that is overly dry. Anything more than about 5oz of opposing force to unroll and flatten will cause a split and rip from the end down the grain.Might be good for narrow edge work but anything wider and I don't trust it. I'm only attempting to use it in 15" strips and it still can't be pinned flat.Thumbs down.

The material is very thin and fragile.
It is rolled up into a small box making it difficult to lay flat on any surface. You need to expend time working the material into a flat plane.

Horrible product
This veneer was incredibly difficult to use. As soon as the veneer was opened, it started to tear, and it wouldn’t unroll with ripping, cracking and tearing. Other veneers I’ve used from other companies have not had these issues, I’ll use those in the future
