It works!
Excellent product! I had one other banana bag awhile ago. It did extend the life of bananas but only briefly. It eventually got moldy and I threw it out. I saw this one, liked the fact it had aluminum lining, and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. I bought bananas 5 days ago intending to make a fruit salad and feared I waited too long. I was blown away when I opened the bag this evening and discovered that the bananas were ripe but not overripe and the fruit was still firm enough to stand up nicely for the fruit salad. I’ve learned it helps to wrap the end of the bananas with plastic wrap where they are cut from the tree because that is where gases that hasten ripening escape. I kept mine on the counter for a couple of days so they start to ripen. Then I put them in the bag, which arrived a couple days later, and put the bag in the refrigerator. I believe they could have easily lasted a few days more.

For storage not freshness
The banana bag hastened the ripening instead of preserving freshness. The picture is bananas that had been in the bag in the refrigerator for 2 days. Will try to re-purpose the bag for something else so my money doesn't go to waste.

It works - Keeps bananas from getting overripe.
This absolutely works (and so does the lettuce bag). We live in the Phoenix area and bananas go overripe quickly - even in March. We put one batch of bananas in our pantry as usual and a batch in this bag in the crisper of our fridge. They were a bit underripe when I put them in the fridge - took them out 5 days later and they were still a bit underripe and tasted exactly as they should at that stage. The outer peel does look a little strange but keeping them fresh and tasty is what it is all about. The ones in the pantry were overripe, and I have quite a few frozen bananas in the freezer because of this.

Very unhappy!
This product did not work as described! I placed my bananas in it and pulled it closed. Within days my bag was covered in fruit flies and my bananas went very brown and bad!

Banana Saver!!!
Bananas get ripe too fast so thought I’d give the ‘Banana Bag’ a try! (SEE PICS) Both bunches of bananas were bought the same day. Well, to my surprise ….it worked!! 🍌I HIGHLY RECOMMEND🍌
