This paste does NOT burn wood at all.The claim is that it is similar to pyrography in that where it is painted, when heated it burn the painted pattern in the wood.What actually happens is, when painted on wood (or any surface) it handles like acrylic paint.When you apply heat, the result is to turn the paint brown and NOT burn the actual wood.
