Works, but needs improvements
So, I did want to like this considering how useful landing gear can be for a drone when you're on uneven, rocky, or grassy land...But there's a couple of flaws with this product that need ironing out.First, it's not raising the drone by 30mm as per the product images. It's barely lifting the drone an additional 1cm from the ground, as you can see by my photo of the landing leg.Second, the clips to the side of the body are completely covering the side vents. This may detrimentally impact the performance of the drone.Lastly, and not exactly the worst thing but can be an annoyance, you cannot fold the legs while this is installed. It must be removed every time you want to pack the drone away.Overall I find this to be a slightly effective product with some drawbacks that would result in me simply not bothering to use it.

Partially blocks side vents
I wanted to like this accessory, I really did. My old Mavic 2 Pro had leg extender extenders that did a great job of improving ground clearance, and this landing gear promised to deliver the same.First of all, it comes minimally packaged in a lightweight cardboard box. There are no instructions provided in or on the box. You might think this is no big deal (and in some ways it isn't) but you do need to take care fitting it - the first time I tried it wasn't sitting right and only then did I notice that one of the two clips hadn't fully engaged at the front. Sorted that, extended the landing gear, put drone on flat surface and then noticed that the 'ski legs' were not sitting flush with the ground. Turns out that they were not fully extended - you have to push past some resistance until they click into position - something that even basic graphical instructions could have conveyed easily enough.I'm not convinced as to the longevity of the landing gear - the plastic clips look delicate and might be easily snapped and the plastic generally looks like it might be brittle - a more 'rubberised' material would have been more reassuring. When I was happy that the gear was properly fitted, I checked ground clearance - you gain about 2cm at the front and 1cm at the rear (as the drone sits at an angle when on its own landing gear). However the biggest potential drawback for me, and the reason why I will not even be trying these for an actual flight, is that by fitting them you are partially blocking the side vents of the drone. These vents are there for a reason, to keep the internals of the drone ventilated and cool in flight, it seems absolutely crazy therefore to fit something to the drone that will negatively impact it's carefully designed cooling system.I have attached images to this review showing the landing gear fitted - also an image showing the vents uncovered and another showing them partially covered by the gear.
