Great solid knife! Very good quality!
I believe this is actually called the Civivi Sentinel Strike. This thing feels amazing in your hand! It's not heavy, yet it's bigger than most daily carrys. The blade is extremely sharp straight from the box. The Button Lock works great. Good quality materials. And the sound it makes when you flick it open and closed is so satisfying! Love that you can grip up on it and not cut the side of your finger. Excellent Knife. Zero complaints. Highly recommend!

Pocket Samurai for Everyday Battles
The CIVIVI Teraxe isn’t just a knife—it’s a statement. With a 3.48-inch Nitro-V blade, this thing is razor-sharp, tough, and built like it means business. Whether you’re slicing, dicing, or just flexing on your buddies, the Teraxe delivers. The stainless steel handle with G10 inlay? Sleek, solid, and comfortable—kind of like the perfect handshake, but with a blade attached. The nested frame lock gives it that rock-solid lockup, so there’s zero blade play (because real men don’t tolerate wobbly knives). Flipping action? Smooth as butter. The burgundy finish adds a touch of class—because even tough guys deserve a little style. Final Verdict: It’s a workhorse with a tuxedo—sharp, sturdy, and built to last. 9/10—because function and finesse should always go hand in hand.

A little fancier than the Asticus, but a fine pocket knife.
It's a well-made and durable knife design with a good choice of materials. The blade steel is not expensive or corrosion resistant but is a decent compromise between ease of sharpening and edge-holding in use. It can be a bit on the brittle side, so I wouldn't recommend it for very heavy duty use. It's a front-flipper but with a thumb stud for opening. The flipper action has a fairly strong detent to make it resistant to opening should you carry it in a pocket with other implements. It's essentially the same knife with different and heavier materials for the handle as the now discontinued CIVIVI Asticus, and similar to the much lighter CIVIVI Olitans. Pat

What's not to love?
After buying and quickly returning a Kubey Barracuda w/S30V, I bought this knife to replace it. The Kubey arrived with not only a dull blade (high-end dull blade), but the blade also had minor little chips along the edge. You could barely see them with the naked eye - except for one that would catch your fingernail if you dragged it across the blade. In contrast, and $100 lower in cost, this CIVIVI Altus with Nitro-V blade was the superior choice for several reasons. Dual deployment choices are fantastic. The button release is my favorite. The Nitro-V blade is like a razor. It cuts so easily that you hardly feel any opposing resistance. The aluminum handle is just fine, not titanium but who really cares? The blade retracts perfectly centered every time. The clip, which I was worried about, is absolutely excellent. It grips well to your pocket yet easy to remove or put back on your pocket. The blade is just under 3 inches which keeps it legal to carry in all 50 states. So there you go, some of the basics and many reasons why this is an excellent affordable yet high quality choice to be your pocket knife. What's not to love?

Good with some drawbacks
This one is a bit of a miss from Civivi. The frame lock will make the blade stick if there is even the slightest pressure from the left or right hand. So you have to actively make sure your fingers are not on it (which is a very small space). Other than that it is a good solid knife. Action is great when you're not blocking the frame lock. Good and snappy. Great for fidgeting. Good weight and very sharp. Comfort is meh. Price was really good for civivi.
