Esteem Apparel Original Men's Chest Compression Shirt to Hide Gynecomastia Moobs Shapewear

Love, love, love these compression shirts! Spanx for men! They are decent for downsizing the belly, but chest compression is where they really excel. My slight/moderate man boobs are gone, and I’ve gone from XL T-shirt’s to medium T-shirts; the mediums are just approaching tight on me, but with this compression shirt underneath the overall effect is I’ve got a lightly fit/developed chest and I look 15 pounds lighter and much more fit. Marvelous! It may be an illusion overall, but I don’t care as I just feel so much better about my body. I am a tall guy at 6ft2 with a broad 44 inch chest. I started with these compression shirts in an XL, which did a nice job, but then went to the large, which did an even better job. But now I’ve switched to the medium, which is just a tad tighter than the large, but has an even greater flattening effect on my chest. I’m quite use to these tight, but breathable tanks, after 4 months of wearing them, so the firm hold of the medium doesn’t bother me at all. The effect it gives me it’s so remarkable, it’s well worth it. It really is noticeably amazing how I now look in medium T-shirts with this compression tank on (upon running into people I haven’t seen in a while, I get a lot of “you look great!” comments). It not only takes away my itty-bitty titties, but being able to wear the tighter more fitted “athletic fit looking” regular medium T-shirts on my large frame body makes my chest look more than a little fit, downright toned. Now, the effect on the belly isn’t nearly as great as that on the chest, but when I’m wearing one of these compression tanks, it’s kind of like a constant reminder to keep my belly sucked in, a procedure I’ve done for decades, so it does have an effect if you train yourself and use the squeezing of the shirt as a constant reminder to keep the belly sucked in. Really can’t rave enough about how much these have changed my attitude towards my physical appearance. If you struggle too with these issues, I hardily invite you to order one of these and try it for yourself!

I ordered a size L and it fit perfectly. I’ve been wearing it every day for two weeks now after my surgery, and I genuinely feel confident and comfortable in it. Everything stays in place all day without shifting, and you can tell the fabric quality is really good. It breathes well, so it doesn’t feel sticky with sweat, and it doesn’t hold any odor after wearing it. I look and feel great in this, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone recovering from surgery or just looking for comfortable everyday compression wear.

Teenage son loves them. He wears them daily and feels more confident when he does so. The seams do show under light colored clothing and people have asked him if he was wearing a bra. He continues to wear them, but under darker colors or layers up when wearing white dress shirts or such. Worth the money!

I’m using these in Italy! You beat all competition. I use these in workouts, Vatican, Pompeii, almafi coast. Greatest compression. Zero chaffing! I love you! Shows close to zero sweat on my back and body while sweating like crazy!! Pair it with a cooling towel around neck!

Granted, there are people who will say it fits them true to size, but considering I wear an XXL and have many shirts by different brands in that same size and they fit me very well, it still fit like it was only a large. The material and the quality of the shirt are undisputed, would've likely been a great piece to own and wear under my shirts, but it doesn't stretch very wide at all and I had to return it. This garment isn't true to size in my opinion, it's about two sizes smaller than the brand thinks it is, but seeing as how it was made in China, they are smaller people over there and western bodies here are bigger in general. I'm not a rotund person, and this was still too small. The material seemed cool, but I don't know how much it would've remained cool. Looks like it would've made anyone sweat. In short, I'm not going to knock this product because I didn't get a chance to truly try it out and wear it, it didn't go up past my hips or past my shoulders when I tried putting it on two ways, so I knew then it was going to be uncomfortable and promptly sent it back the same day I received it. I would suggest looking for other brands of compression shirts, this one runs small for any size that it is.

I’m a satisfied, happy buyer. My review is in two parts. PART 1 is background/back-story; and PART 2 is my conclusion and summary. PART 1: I used the size chart with the big title on it "Esteem Apparel Slimming Compression Shirts." I am 6'3" at 220 LB, which is in the XL zone but only one box away from L (large). Age 63, waist 40, chest 46. I chose size L (large). My formerly strong-firm pectoral muscles have been losing mass for a few years, and no longer as tight. And the skin isn't shrinking along with the muscle. PART 2, CONCLUSION AND SUMMARY: When I first put on a white collared tee shirt that I have to wear as a member of a performing group, it was bad and I was self conscious. Now I look much better! Excellent effect! Before, even with a crew neck undershirt beneath the collared tee shirt, my man-boobs were too obvious for my liking. This compression shirt is the solution. I'm compressed and firmed up. Also the compression shirt and its seams don’t show through the white collar tee shirt. I should mention that the outer white tee is good quality…..not wimpy and sheer like a lot of tees. Its brand name is Izod. Pulling the shirt requires more effort than our loose fitting stuff, and I expected that. Once on, I scooted what I'd call the boob area panel to where it belongs. Then made other simple adjustments. The shirt is great. Very comfortable in the chest/moob area...nice and snug, firming and flattening. The feeling of compression at my waist is tighter and more noticeable. It’s where I'm fatter than I should be, which is my fault, and I need to slim down. This shirt’s purpose is to help with the chest/moob problem, and for that purpose, it is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT successful. Until I slim down my waist, I like the compression of the love-handles/spare-tire zone. In that zone even though I don’t think of this as a belly-flattening shirt or love-handle-reducing shirt, I do look slightly slimmer, and my profile is more gradual in that zone. So, the love-handle bulge isn't as pronounced. Boy I’m a happy buyer. BRAVO!

I'm 5' 10", 240 lbs., ordered a XL and wear with everyday clothing. It stretches snug against the body like a second skin, is very breathable and does not show through the clothing. The feeling you'll get in the stomach region it's as if you're sucking in your gut however it's without trying and comfortable at the same time. Different that you put the shirt on by stepping through the neck area however makes a lot of sense. I don't generally workout and nor do I intend this to be a way to slim down but when I want to not feel like I have the dad gut this is great shapewear to help reduce that and provide a little bit more confidence in your look.

I have had man boobs for as long as I can remember, and I am not even just saying that. I was overweight as a child all the way up through High School and once I hit High School, I got more serious about sports and working out so I lost around 45-50lbs, but saw little to no improvement in the man boobs section. I am now 31 years old and put some of that weight back on unfortunately, so I went down 2 separate roads: 1) I had a consultation with a local surgeon who is highly touted, and he assured me he could correct my issue and I would be a great candidate for it, however, that fix was quoted to me at $11K+.... The saddest part is that this has had such a negative affect on my life that I was very close to biting the bullet and going for the surgery. 2) As a last ditch effort, I said what the heck and gave this shirt a try. Honestly, I have pretty noticeable moobs and this shirt has shrunk them down considerably! I simply wear the shirt underneath any T-Shirt or formal wear when I go out and I immediately feel more confident, have better posture (I slouch to hide my moobs as much as possible), and just feel better about myself overall. I decided not to get the very expensive surgery and just wear this shirt as an alternative, and I am very pleased with the results. Although the surgery would be better for things like taking my shirt off at the beach or pool, I am very pale skinned also so at least I have the generic sun-burn excuse for that. I have seen some reviews saying "it doesn't completely hide man boobs" and things of that nature. I will say that I was very skeptical myself, and yes they don't 100% vanish from your body, but honestly I was amazed at how well the shirt worked for me. Even the very slight bulge I have in that area now (while wearing the shirt) looks more like pecks/muscles than man boobs (perfect for me also because I am not in horrible shape and still workout, so it fits my body type). Anyway, I ended up buying a 2nd shirt about a month after the first one and now I just ordered two more today. If you don't want to pay absurd amounts of money on surgery, this is by far the next best thing and barely a fraction of the price. Wish these were around throughout my childhood, as it definitely would have helped with self esteem, especially after I lost all the weight and still had man boobs (very frustrating situation). I highly recommend this shirt, and if you are a doubter, just give it a shot and see what it can do for you! Spending less than $30 is way less challenging/intimidating than going through very expensive and potentially dangerous surgical procedures. Worst case, it doesn't work for you and you can pursue other options afterwards. I doubt you'll regret it!!

I can’t thank James the creator enough! Having been widowed I’ve lost over 6 stones in weight (21st down to 14st and over 6” off my waist) and this is the cherry on the top to UP my confidence while I now complete my tone up - it is extremely comfortable to wear, does not become unbearable, remains unrestrictive and is fully breathable.
