Used for pest repeller
Seem OK, as only just fitted time will tell but they charged up OK and are in use in an ultrasonic pest repeller outside. These NiMH replace a set of failed NiCad rechargeables. The wide operating temperature for external use was a deciding factor as was the increased storage capacity of 2100mAh compared to the original much lower NiCads

New technology batteries for every use
These new technology nimh batteries with very low self drain will meet most battery needs. Unlike standard nimh batteries they generate less heat under high load - high load performance is exceptional. Digital cameras will have much improved battery life. These batteries retain a significant charge over a year instead of declining to unusability like standard rechargeables and can be used for remotes and clocks.NOTE that due to the low self drain and extended shelf life, your battery powered device will show a low battery warning at inappropriate times- typically a high drain device will give you little warning while a low drain device will give you too much warning. As supplied these batteries will be some months old and will not have a full charge - if your use is high drain (eg digital camera), fully re-charge when you get the batteries. For longest lifetimes, recharge before full discharge is reached- say every six months in a clock or remote, especially if using more than one battery in an appliance- small differences in manufacture can damage ANY battery at low charge when used in series. Only use one hour chargers in an emergency and not regularly. And try not to trickle charge continuously 24 hours a day- give them some time off.The new technology nimh batteries are sold as having a lower capacity than the old ones, but the high internal drain on the old style batteries means that after a week your new technology batteries will actually have a higher charge left in them.Recommended.

Initial charging problems but now fine
I've bought a total of 5 sets of 4 x AA Recykos and they've all been ok for immediate use even though not fully charged (which is about what I expected).I did have initial problems charging them with the Recyko fast charger. It rejected one or two of a set of four as faulty, but I found that, with patience, I could recharge them singly. After they'd all had a full charge, they were fine and have behaved well ever since.Unlike older Ni-Cads which are only really suitable for high-drain devices where the batteries run down after a day's use, Recykos are great for things like Wii controllers where you expect the batteries to last for a period of time with just occasional use.Recykos came first-equal in a Which? report on new-generation rechargeables, and, overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Makes the duracell bunny look a wimp!!!
Nothing much more I can say about this product that hasn't already been said! I believe that all brands of this particular technology offer the same benefits (especially the almost negligible discharge rate), and I really only purchased the Recyko brand based upon finding the lowest price for the Mah equivalent. I am using them to power an alarm system in my caravan, and so far (4 weeks later in constant use) they are still going strong on the first charge.I believe that you can use them straight out of the packet, but the small print DOES recommend that you put them through a recharge anyway (just use a GOOD quality recharger).Still very expensive in comparison with other rechargeables, but worth the extra (in my mind).

Best rechargeables available
If - and this is a crucial if (don't ignore it) - you use a proper recharger, these batteries will perform superbly for years. Most if not all of the criticism against these batteries is due to poor charging by rapid chargers. Yes, they may be quick to charge your batteries but they don't do it properly.A rapid charger is useful if you're in a hurry and need a quick fix occasionally. But routine, regular charging should be performed with a proper conditioning charger, which will also allow you to occasionally refresh the batteries back to a "brand new" state. This applies to all rechargeable batteries.

LONG LASTING and hold a charge well!
These are batteries. Not just any batteries though, and certainly not like those ones you tried from the pound shop that leaked acid in your pocket on the way home! These babies hold their charge for quite some time. Also, they charge well even after months of constant use!I bought these over a year ago and I can honestly say we are still using them a lot in our house. They are used for things such as my sons xbox controllers, our old digital camera, my wife's erm, massager...Anyway yes, we use them a lot!they work!Buy them!

This picture does not represent what you get.
Good for the price, but you don't get the pro version as is shown in the picture. I received the green non-pro version, much to my disappointment.
